We had reservations for 2 nights, but enjoyed the Lodge so much that we extended our stay, and were lucky to get a room. The family-run lodge is so friendly and helpful with anything you want to do; and so was the hired staff. We went over Labor Day and it was amazing. The colors had started to turn so the mountains and valleys were awash of golds, reds and greens. Sean, who owns the lodge with his wife Lucy, picked us up at the Fairbanks airport and flew us out to the lodge as this is the only way to access it. Although... more

Denali Wilderness Lodge is a wonderful place run by wonderful people who treat the guests like family. It is set in a beautiful and remote location completely surrounded by gorgeous mountains, rivers, and rolling hills (and the animals that inhabit them). We spent 3 days at the Denali Wilderness Lodge in Alaska, he end of May,2006. The new owners are wonderful hosts and the comfort of the guests is their first priority. We enjoyed 2 great nights at this lodge.There was much to do and see there.The room we were given was A-1, with a spectacular view.The folks working there were helpful and friendly.
