My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights last week, and we loved every minute of it. We went out on guided hikes for 2 days. The guides were super knowledgeable and friendly. Tara especially made the hikes fun, even though we hiked in the rain, wind, and clouds for both days. My only regret was that we didn't... More

This is a beautiful, quiet, luxury lodge in the heart of the park. The hosts are fabulous and friendly and we felt as if we were with a family group. The views of the mountain are spectacular, and the food is locally grown and prepared gourmet treats, each meal better than the next. We were with a birding group of... More

We are frequent travelers in the state of Alaska and are well aware of the difficulties for hotel/property owners to provide a true wilderness experience while also tending to the needs of guests. The ability to provide the basics of running water, electricity and meals while being located in remote areas is an enormous challenge. This lodge accomplishes the task... More

North Face Lodge is a truly wonderful place to stay if you want to get away from it all. It isn't cheap but is well worth it. The lodge rooms are comfortable, the food is delicious and the staff go above and beyond for all of the guests. If you are planning to stay at North Face or at Camp... More

Our visit to the North Face Lodge began as an extension to the National Geographic Sea Bird 62 passenger cruise through the inside passage of Alaska. We were the second group to visit in June 2015, and the season was just underway. The staff were amazing -- always there to answer questions, give you the day's activities available, or give... Stayed here 3 nights on a tour so I do not know price but it was great! Room was small but cozy and warm. Slept well. Great fresh cooked breakfast and gourmet dinners. Lunch was good also....you made it yourself to bring on the daily bus/ hiking tours! Variety of things to do also. No wi fi or cell phone... More

I stayed at the Lodge [not to be confused with Camp Denali] and it was wonderful. I was there with a "birding" group but we ended up seeing many more "charismatic megafauna" [moose, fox, grizzlies, Dall sheep, caribou] than birds. Besides being in an unforgettably beautiful place, It's worth commenting on the unforgettable staff at the Lodge. They make you... More

Stayed here August 6-10 2012. Saw many animals on the 7 hour trip in. It was light until well after 11:00 at night and would be light by 0400 in the morning. Every day we did something different. We were able to do a fly-around Denali in a small plane. That was both exciting and somewhat scary. Saw moose, caribou,... More

There are 3 places to stay at "the end of the road" deep in Denali NP. This is the only place where you can stay that is up on a hill and you can see the mountain (Mt McKinley) or as the locals call it, Denali Mountain when the clouds clear. Early morning, on our 2nd day, the mountain was... More

You can stay in a cabin ( actually not as remote as i thought they would be) or stay in the beautifully equipped and comfortable lodge run by the nicest most chilled hosts i have had the good fortune to meet. Expensive yes, but worth every penny. Located at the end of the road 90 ish miles into the national... More
