I read all of the reviews on Camp Denali and North Face Lodge. They were all rated excellent. So I thought I knew what to expect on our stay. To say the least, it was an unbelievable visual and educational vacation. I cannot say enough about this staff. They have fifty experts taking care of seventy-some guests, and they make... More

I found North Face on Trip Advisor and I am so thankful! We planned our 11 day trip around availability at North Face Lodge. It was all we hoped for. We enjoyed the leisurely and informative bus ride into the lodge, and the awesome gourmet picnic dinner. The next day we participated in a moderate hike which was perfect. We... More

Wow - what an amazing 3 days. This place has got to be one of the best places to get to know Denali while having all the creature comforts you could imagine in such a beautiful wilderness. The staff is kind, intelligent, and incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of the park and its history. The food is to die for!!!... More

this is a very well-run operation by people who are passionate about Denali and physical fitness. The rooms and food are excellent. You share the same staff and chefs as Camp Denali, but you have private toilets and showers which was very nice. they offer 3 levels of hikes each day.

Extraordinary hiking experience! The naturalist guided hikes were sensational. The staff here are passionate about the park and thoroughly committed to the guests having an outstanding visit. The food is superb too! Author Sherry Pederson's presentation on Bears was fabulous!

We spent four nights at the North Face Lodge. The drive in was great, with our bus driver/guide explaining fauna, flora, geology and history. We saw grizzlies, caribou, Dall sheep, moose and much more. The day hikes were strenuous, but well worth it. The guides were all very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was wonderful. The rooms were very good.... More

This lodge is one of only a handful of ways to get a true wilderness experience in Denali. It puts you back at about mile 89, almost at the end of the long winding, mostly one-lane gravel road that traverses the park. So you see and experience what only a minute percentage of the park's visitors experience. And you do... More

Go, perhaps, to see Denali but stay to discover the endless diversity and beauty of the spongy and alpine tundra, the wildlife, lakes and vast vistas as you gently push yourself on daily, unmarked hikes led by some of the most impressive young(er) people you will ever meet. The camaraderie among staff and all guests that quickly developed during hikes... More

We just returned from a 3 day stay at North Face Lodge. All the reviews are correct - the food is great, the staff knowledgable, the lodge beautiful - and the park is breath-taking. The hikes are great - something for every level and interest. You are not "packed" on a bus with every seat taken: there are planned empty... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights last week, and we loved every minute of it. We went out on guided hikes for 2 days. The guides were super knowledgeable and friendly. Tara especially made the hikes fun, even though we hiked in the rain, wind, and clouds for both days. My only regret was that we didn't... More
