My husband and our two 20-something children had a most extraordinary stay here. We opted for this indoor plumbing hotel, although the sister hotel up the road, looked charming with its individual cabins and wooden stoves (and outhouses). These two are virtually the only in-park accomodations available and that makes them enormously more interesting than the hotels situated at the... more

We stayed for 4 nights at North Face Lodge. It was an incredible experience and one I would do again in a heartbeat. The staff, especially the naturalist guides, are all fantastic. They were well-informed, well-organized and able to provide a completely interesting wilderness experience to varied group of guests. We hiked for 3 days with their talented and trained... more

We stayed in in july for 3 nights, we started out in camp denali and decieded that was not for us so they moved us right away to north face. the food was wonderful and the people were not only some of the most pleasant people we meet on our trip but all the guides were expesionally trained and very... more

We had a great stay at the North Face Lodge. We were here for three days. The rooms are very rustic, but have their own bathrooms. The rooms are kind of small, but you really don't spend a lot of time in your room anyway. The staff here was very professional and made you feel very much at home. The... more

North Face Lodge is the ideal location to go to if you want to hike, enjoy Denali, watch the animals or even just sit and relax. It can be difficult to get to as the bus takes 8-9 hours to go the 90 miles but that is because it stops multiple times enroute to allow the passengers to look at... more

My husband and I, and four adult family members spent three nights at North Face Lodge during our June visit to Alaska. We had finished a cruise through the Inside Passage, and visited Anchorage and Seward prior to our trip to Denali. All six of us expressed great appreciation for the beauty of this Lodge, the service of the staff,... more

This August was our second stay at Camp Denali, and it confirmed our first experience: outstanding staff, outstanding place. The mission of Camp Denali, to provide opportunity to experience wildlife and appreciation for the natural world, is accomplished in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Unhesitating recommendation. more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the North Face Lodge. The guides and cooks are shared with Camp Denali. We chose North Face Lodge over Camp Denali because it had indoor plumbing and electricity. The rooms are basic but have been spruced up a bit and are well cared for. The staff is terrific, very willing to help and educate.... more

This is a great place to stay for a lot of reasons. There are only a few places you can stay in the back country of Denali and we chose this one because it is smaller and because they have access to hiking in the park. We chose North Face lodge over Camp Denali (same owners) because the bathrooms are... more
