We stayed here for one night while on a cruise tour for Celebrity Cruises. This place was really cool. They have cabins and a hotel, we stayed in a cabin, that had been pre arranged via the Celebrity Cruise line. The cabin was very nice, clean, quiet warm and seemed to be pretty new. The inside was very rustic but... More

Stayed at this hotel because Royal Caribbean chose it. I was very subpar. Our window would not lock so maintenance put a stick in it. We also found a dead fly on the sill. The room was cramped. The grounds were in poor condition and you could see the maintenance yard and dump area from our room. This was a... More

The room is very nice. Staff is helpful. Ate lunch of fish and chips. Fish was over cooked and the fries were limp. Breakfast next morning was good. Head out on wilderness tour. Go on your tour or be stuck at facility because they provided mo transportation to the village down the road. Bummer. The cabin night dinner theater is... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We renovated all the rooms over the winter and will make a few more upgrades this off-season. I am glad to hear that the room was clean and nice. To clarify, we do have shuttles that run to the visitor center all day and in the evening there are shuttles... More

The facilities were very nice, and the staff was very courteous. The rooms were nice and spacious, facilities were very clean and close to the national Park. There was convenient transportation to and from local areas available and ample parking for rental cars

We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay at our lodge and liked our staff. We have a stellar group of seasonal employees that come from all over the world and the USA. One thing they have in common: they love Alaska. Overall, they do a great job of taking care of our guests and showing them this... More

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a Celebrity Cruise Tour. Were told that these cabins were an upgrade. Stayed the first night, shivering the whole time. As others have noted, very dim . Not enough lighting to even see into our suitcase! Very cold at night . No room to move around. Bathroom so small and freezing. The... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. It looks like after you moved from the cabin you had a great experience. We have ordered floor lamps and will be installing electric heaters to address the issues you mentioned. We bought the cabins over the winter and remodeled them but are now trying to address any remaining issues... More

We spent 3 days here in August 2014. We were in a "cabin", not the main lodge area. It is an area set off from the main area near the river. While having your own cabin would seem nice, the common walk ways that connect all the cabins transmit every foot step. When people are rolling their luggage on the... More

Thank you for taking the time to give a thorough review of our lodge. It is reviews like this that allow us to make improvements for the future. We purchased the cabin area over the winter and remodeled all of the rooms and will do some more additions this winter, mainly with more lighting. We are also re-constructing all the... More

We spent three nights in August. Our room was right on the river in bldg. 500, we opened the windows to hear it flowing and it was delightful. The hotel is in a great spot for all activities in the area and the staff is eager to help. Things run timely and there is little waiting around. The food is... More

We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay in Denali. We agree that our staff is one of our best assets. They have a true love of Denali and showing our guests a great time. Our location on the rushing Nenana River is also a major plus. There are seating areas and fire pits all along the river... More

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a land-sea tour. It's an okay facility but if you don't have activities scheduled, there's nothing to do. There is a shuttle to the National Park Visitor's Center and the Wilderness Center. We took the Denali Wilderness tour and visited the Husky Homestead. The resort should have a regularly scheduled shuttle to... More

This is a property that is right on the river...really beautiful. There is a restaurant with outdoor seating that is lovely. The rooms can be hit or miss. When we first arrived we were in a room that was overlooking a parking lot with a lot of traffic. Since the rooms are not air conditioned it would be very loud... More

We actually never had a chance to stay here because they pulled a fast one on us. We planned on staying here in July 2014 and had booked it at least 3 months prior. Our Alaska trip began on June 24th and we stayed at 8 hotels in 12 days and on July 1st we were scheduled to stay here,... More

We want to apologize for the overbooking situation. Unfortunately, every hotel in Denali overbooks a couple of times each season. We sometimes wait to inform the guests as there are often last minute cancellations. I am sorry that the Princess Lodge wasn't adequate. Again, sorry for the inconvenience and we hope you enjoyed your trip overall. Jeff - Operations Manager More
