We stayed here with a Holland America tour. Everything was clean and neat but short on a place to eat. Had to move on to the local strip, and found plenty to look at and some great spots eat at. The Bus tour the next morn. was about 1 1/2- 2 hours late., the bus had bad breaks the day before... More

We stayed here while on our Alaskan Land tour, which was a part of our Alaskan Cruise with the Celebrity Cruise Line. It was a bit Rustic, and the rooms were pretty small and kinda of a no-frills accomadations. The grounds were nice with pretty scenery,. but if you wanted to get a nice meal or go shopping, you had... More

Princess always has the most comfortable places to stay and we had a great view from our window. We were lucky that we were able to see Mt. McKinley every day except for the day we left. I took many, many pictures of it.

We stayed here for five nights to visit nearby Denali. The property is managed by Aramark, who seems to manage or operate all commerce inside Denali. Everything is reached by shuttles due to the property's distance from the national park. First, the shuttles are infrequent and do not run according to their schedule. We witnessed the drivers bypassing stops if... More

Great location for visitors of Denali park. It is about 6 miles from the entrance of the park, but you don't need to use your car to reach the park itself. Hourly shuttles bring you there without the hassle to park your car. The lodge is made up of seven two floors buildings with some 30 plus rooms each. Lift... More

This was the first hotel on our land tour of Alaska. Knew it would be rustic but wasn't prepared for how isolated it was. Lots of rain didn't help.Food was expensive with no other choices available. Only stayed there one night. They were getting ready to close for the season, but no sales, Said they pack it away for next... More

Stayed her from Princess Cruise extension. Very nice room. Lots of people but ok. Food was good nothing exception but the view from the restaurant made up for it. Clouds around McKinley but just being there and seeing parts of it a the clouds moved was aaawsum! Nice comfortable room.

Stayed here on our Holland America Line land tour after our cruise. This place is gorgeous....not only the rooms but the scenery is just breath taking. We were told by HAL that it was 'rustic' compared to the Chalets in town where some stayed so we were ready for 'basics' which this is far from basic. My husband & I... More

I am very happy to hear that you had a great time at the lodge, and thank you very much for the positive review. You were lucky to see the northern lights. Normally September has clear night skies but we had a lot of rain and clouds this year. The wake call is a nice touch so you don't have... More

Recently stayed here for a weekend away with my boyfriend and we had a great time! We were greeted by a very helpful staff who gave us the lowdown on the shuttle and all that. We stayed in a basic room (two double beds) but the beds were really comfortable and the sheets were so soft and the river view... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am glad that you were able to enjoy your getaway to the lodge. We are a family of 4 that stayed here for tour nights as part of a post cruise tour. My expectations were fairly low for hotels in Alaska and I was pleasantly surprised. We were in the 700 building which seemed new and clean. It also contained a complimentary laundry room which came in handy for us after almost two... More
