We spent one night here after our scenic train ride from Anchorage as part of our Celebrity Cruise Line land tour. We found it to be just as we expected for staying in a National Park - if it was less rustic, I would have been disappointed! The cabin was modern, clean, and comfortable although the lighting could have been... More

The buildings are well taken care of, the rooms clean and average. Attractive lobby area that invites seating around the fireplace and a very nice gift shop.Transportation is needed to get to and from Denali Park and the area down the road where most of the shopping and restaurants are located. The hotel does provide a free shuttle, but still not... We had a large group stay at Denali Park Village and was, to say the least, terribly disappointed. No one in our group was happy with the rooms. We stayed in the multi-unit buildings. The beds were awful, worse than Motel 6. When we complained to the front desk we were told that they were new beds. Don't think so!... More

This lodge was formerly named McKinley Village Lodge . My husband and I spent 2 nights at this lodge as part of an escorted land/sea tour of Alaska. Our room was clean, neat and attractively furnished, though simple and some what rustic in style. There is no microwave or refrigerator which was a negative for the people, in our group... More

I was a bit nervous about staying here based on earlier reviews! This property is under new management and great changes must be occurring because I thought this was a great place to stay AND to be so close to the entrance to Denali National Park. The boundary to the park is the Nenana River that the lodge is located... More

Located on a river in a beautiful setting, with restaurant and bars, and shops. Good place to stay, good access to Denali national park. The hotel was rustic in nature but was very new and well taken care of.

We really liked this spot. It was not fancy but the rooms were clean, the staff friendly and the lobby a friendly place to sit and connect you wifi. We had a nice breakfast in the restuarant. They have a lovely gift shop. Its not a fancy place but we enjoyed our night with them. After a very long day... More

We started our stay with a positive experience with front desk staff person being very helpful. He upgraded us to river front cabins which were lovely and warm on arrival. The second night we were moved into the motel section which also had nice quiet rooms - until 6 am that is when the fire alarm went off. We madly... More

The TripAdvisor reviews here nailed it. I was so glad I had taken the time to read them. We specifically requested a river-view room in the lodge as a result. When we checked in, the staff person passed us a key to a cabin. We had called the property to make the reservation precisely so we could make sure we... More

The Denali Park Village was very nice with a large restaurant and gift shop inside the lobby. There are a bunch of buildings that house hotel rooms. The rooms were fine but nothing special, but the village itself was very nice. There are some various shops on the premises so it was fun just wandering around the area. The lodge... More
