We stayed as part of a Holland America cruise. Rooms were a little old but clean and comfortable and quiet. The cabin night dinner play was good. Restaurants on grounds are good but a little expensive, but there are several others close across the street in shopping strip. Bus to Denali Park runs twice an hour and all the excursions... More

What a fabulous place to stay while visiting Denali NPP! Whie it is owned by Holland America they take all reservations. Beautiful amenities, great food and friendly staff. We had a perfect view of my. Healey from our window and were lucky enough to be in Akaska after the first heavy snow fall of the season. The lobby is a... More

While In Alaska, you must assume responsibility for taking on the challenges of the area. Nothing is easy up here, however; after a long flight I met my husband here and absolutely loved the isolated room we stayed in overlooking the river and the Mountains were amazing. The long walks were a breath of fresh air and would not have... More

We stayed here while on a tour managed by Holland America. The facility is beautiful and clean however do not let looks deceive you. Our room was comfortable but had nbo air flow without opening a window (Too cold for us). We had a small fan with us and that helped. The hotel restaurants were priced for tourist gouging and... We got in late and had to stay a night before we flew on with the Kantishna Air Taxi into the park. It was a nice hotel and an impressive entry. This hotel is owned by Holland tours and you can expect an army of people from time to time coming and going. We had a nice meal sitting in... More

I know you are in the process of updating and that is good. Our room was only average and were in Building H. I was glad NOT to be down the hill. The flowers that are there were nice but there were areas that needed some. The Princess right beside the Chalet had much better grounds and main building. ??the... More

We stayed in a room right next to the river and left the window open (a bit) and had that really nice "staying in nature" feeling. I don't expect a swanky 5-star at Denali, this is exactly what I expected there. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurants are good. Try Prospertor's Pizza while you're there, it's right across... More

The accommodations are comfortable but you can do better by eating at the restaurants across the highway. Great pizza and cold Alaska Amber Ale. The restaurants in the hotel are expensive and they were out of what my wife ordered. The rooms have a single bed and a double in the bedroom along with the wash sink. The bathroom has... More

We stayed one night connected with a Holland America cruise/land trip. It wasn't long enough. It's a big facility with many types of buildings & rooms. We were fortunate in that our room had a balcony overlooking the river. We ate at one of the on-site restaurants & enjoyed our meal. Wish we could've stayed longer!!

Stayed there for three days as part of a land and sea cruise. The rooms were large as they had a sitting room and bedroom in the back. Never heard any sound so a great place if you're looking for quiet. Numerous places in the chalet to grab food. Dinner at the restaurant was nice and the breakfast buffet was... More
