Fritz built the house himself, and it is exquisite in a spare European style. Our room had a loveseat and places to set 2 suitcases and plenty of shelves we would have used if we had been there longer than 2 nights. We went to Denali the day in between our 2 nights, and the B&B was just right (away... More

We stayed for 3 nights at Deneki Lakes B&B. It is a very nice B&B. The room was a bit small, but we could make use of a large sitting room next to our room. This sitting room has to be shared with the guests of 2 rooms. The hosts are very hospitable. The breakfast is good also. From the... More

Stayed on night in Sept. but wish we had stayed longer. It is located outside the park in a quiet spot. Marianne and Fritz were so welcoming a nice. The rooms are very comfortable and spotless. Private bath, comfortable common living room area and open kitchen. Marianne prepared an amazing breakfast before we went into the park. So much healthy,... More

Marianne and Fritz gave us such a warm welcome and we really felt at home with these caring and warm people. Marianne did a great job with the breakfasts, served a variety of fruit, muesli etc, however, it was almost too much. There was a good selection of guide books (flora, birding, hiking) and the hosts could add lots of... More

We were so lucky to land a last-minute reservation for 3 nights at this amazing BnB 10 miles South of Denali - a perfect location. Marianne & Fritz have created two luxurious guest rooms with private baths and a comfortable adjacent living room for all to share, with Marianne's delicious homemade breakfasts. This memorable BnB is spotless! Marianne's warmth and... More

This B&B is fantastic. When you are planning on visiting Denali Park the location of this place is really great. We stayed here for one night only but it was enough to confirm what other travelers said - that both the host (Marianne) and the lodging/food are spectacular. To start, the place is impeccably clean (a major plus for me),... More

So if you are looking for a wonderful private B and B stay near the entrance to Denali Park and away from the cruise crowd in the touristy town down the road, this is your best choice. Marianne is a great hostess and even better baker!!! Her husband Fritz is a guide in the Park and knows the entire state.... More

Great place to stay. We took the train to Denali from Anchorage. The Deneki Lakes B&B was great - charming. Fritz and Marianne were delightful. Marianne made amazing breakfasts. They had great suggestions. You can pay $80/per night for them to drive you around. That was great and necessary without a car.

Fritz' and Marianne run a beautiful B&B. everything is so clean and nice. The breakfast Marianne makes is superb. There are some house rules to keep the house clean and the B&B area proper. All and all we had a great stay (3 nights) and left the place with the feeling we left some friends behind.

We were looking for something special for our anniversary and found it here. Marianne was amazing and we felt like best friends within minutes of meeting her. We worried a bit when we made reservations that the B&B looked a bit plain and that it would be hard to find nice restaurants. The views were spectacular especially from the dining... More
