RV park and its amenities were all very good. Shower block was a bit of a trek away from the RVs though. Great location for Death Valley sights and views from RV park and pool were stunning. Felt a bit mislead by the website - Don't think that the lodge is close by, it is quite a distance across the... More

A few friends and I were on a road trip and we decided last minute to drive through Death Valley. We stayed in the hotel area, it was not much but the surroundings were what we came for. A bit pricey but again we were in the middle of nowhere, we didn't have too many options that were financially viable.... More

The right camp sights at the NP camp ground have some shading and wind protection from small trees. They also create some privacy from your neighbors who will be fairly close. The wash basins by the restrooms are about the best I have seen. The visitors center is walking distance and nice. Swimming pool and showers for $5 per half... More

Here is this resort 190' below sea level surrounded by desert, sand dunes and mountains in the distance. What an awe inspiring view, oh with 106 degrees in the shade on the early of May. The resort is dated, the rooms are a little better, the pool is very large and welcomed in the heat. Front desk clerk was very... More

April 16 - 20, 2015 We made reservations at Fiddler's Campground for tent camping prior to arriving. I apparently did not research this campsite before hand or we would not have considered staying here. The "campground" is basically a parking lot with gravel. One side has tree's (the 50' space) and the other side is all day sun (40'). The... More

Ok, the price is right! The campground is a gravel parking lot. There is a three stall unisex toilet near the golf course, but the showers are over by the swimming pool and the hotel. A very long walk, and there are only 2 showers there, so be prepared to wait or stay dirty. As a camper you get access... More

I really enjoyed staying here as the area surrounding the campground is stunning. We just went a short walk from the campground to watch the sunset and it was the most beautiful sunset of my life! It was so still and peaceful and had this other-worldly feel to the place (this goes for all of Death Valley) We even saw... More

Death Valley to my surprise has a lot more to offer in sightseeing than just driving thru. Two days is the minimum amount of time I would suggest you spend but you could really fill three. The problem is that accommodations are not many and the few offered are really pricey. The cheapest is this one but don't expect luxury,... More

We recently stayed at this resort and my personal opinion of this place is far from a resort. The building we stayed in was like walking into a sick ward in a hospital. The building is in serious need of an overhaul. It smelled of death. We were grateful that our room didn't smell the same. All the tenants were... More

Furnace Creek Resort is the cheeper option to stay in Death Valley, you need to pay around 200 dollars per night for the room whereas Furnace Inn is double the price. However, if you are keen to spend time in Death Valley this is a great place to stay. It is close to all important views such as Zabriskie Point... More
