Having requested 2 rooms for a party of 4 months in advance, we finally got to the Ranch on Oct. 12 only to find that we were put in building 900, quite a ways from where we'd requested. "We've had a golf tournament..." we were told. So our 4 month advance reservation went out the window. We were able to... More

You must visit Death Valley if possible, the scenery both in the valley and the drive into the valley is truly amazing. There is little choice as far as accommodation is concerned and judging by the reviews Furnace Creek Lodge is about the best. The room was dated with worn carpets and in need of an urgent refurbishment but you... More

Okay so this is not a five-star hotel in the normal sense of that phrase; however, i believe that when you review hotels, you need to review them like other hotels of their class and location and using that standard, this place is definitely 5 star. First of all, you're IN DEATH VALLEY. This is a remote, inhospitable environment so... More

We stayed in the hotel travelling from Vegas to Mammoth lakes and we wanted to spend a night in Death Valley. The hotel itself is laid out a little like a motel as the rooms are in blocks away from the reception. The hotel also has a RV and campsite. the rooms are basic but clean with patio doors that... Travelling as a family of 4 on a roadtrip we only had a 1 night stay, but it was a charming place. The pool was a bit too deep for my youngest child, and there is basic amenities available which if you were staying for a week which would need to be taken into consideration, particuarly for eating.

Unfortunately we decided to stay last week for a week at one of our favorite places, Death Valley. The Inn and the ranch have always at least beenadaquate, but wow has this place gone in the bucket. We were unable to get our usual "deluxe" room at the ranch, which is little more than a remodeled cabin unit but at... More

It's a bit confusing when booking a reservation at the Furnace Creek Inn and Ranch Resort. The Inn is up the road in a stunning setting with magnificent gardens and beautiful pool. The Ranch is more modest but boasts a great pool, tennis courts and access to the golf course. There are also four places to eat, none of which... More

I stayed at the Inn at Furnace Creek with a friend for one night as part of our west coast road trip. We'd heard lots about how stunning the scenery in Death Valley is and it really didn't disappoint. After staying in Yosemite for 2 nights, the scenery couldn't have been more different but we loved it! It's desolate and... More

Two nights at the Furnace a Creek Inn was just ok- on par with most any chain motel, but at three times the price. The hotel is clean and the rooms small, but comfortable. It's an old hotel trying to look classy, but in my opinion, it's lost it's glitter. We tried to get rooms at the Ranch, just down... More
