There was a lot of repairs in progress while we stayed so the roads were muddy and one of the bathrooms were closed. The site was good, the loop format meant we weren't too close to anyone else. No showers.

In Oct. 2014, Loop B bathroom was closed for repairs, which limited the campsites. We ended in Loop C, at 292. which was a no-generator loop. The sites felt a little small, but bushes and trees gave definition and privacy. Bathrooms were clean, and WARM, and the clean-up sink was in its own little room and had a double sink,... More

We stayed at Sunset Campground for one night on a 12-day vacation to Arizona and Utah. We are avid rustic campers from Michigan, and camping at Bryce reminded us of the wooded areas we usually stay at in Michigan. The campground was clean and quiet. Short walk to the Navajo Trail head. It has a centrally-located bathroom in the middle... More

We camped at Sunset Campground and it was so convenient for our hikes and drives through the park. They have a clean camp sink and nice bathrooms, but no showers. Supposedly showers are by the grocery store, but we just used a little shampoo and the hot water from the kitchen sink.. We were surprised at how cool it was,... More

July 2014 - We arrived mid-afternoon and got one of the last walk-in tent sites available. The camp sites we're spacious and the bathrooms were clean (with running water and plumbing!). Bryce Canyon is higher elevation, so the weather was very pleasant, even in the heat of summer! At night, the campground was full, which meant lots of camp fires... More

This campground was pretty busy in the summer, even for the middle of the week. Because of that it was noisy and crowded, and the bathrooms were never clean. Having said that, the sites were nice, and it was convenient to the shuttle bus and the amphitheater, but I don't know that I would want to stay here again.

Loved the campground. Surprisingly got a walk-in site in June on the weekend. Very close to Sunset Point and Rim Trail which is where you want to be. Clean bathrooms but showers are at the General Store which you'll have to drive to. Plus the showers are super clean. Only thing is that it is super dusty there at the... More

Spacious campsites with level tent spots. Campground had construction going on (new bathrooms?) so sites were shifted around, but sites were quiet with shade a privacy. Good bathrooms, sinks and lighting. No showers. Friendly deer grazing around.

Stayed here 2 nights. Nice spots with of course the BBQ-fire available. Everything is present. Only the showers and the store is quite a distance from the camping itself). For dinner we went to the hotels and restaurants outside the park.

While the campground itself did not have showers, we did have water, flush toilets, garbage bins, and plenty of space. We reserved campsite B-269 and the only complaint we had was the parking; two vehicles barely fit when there were cars parked in the adjacent campsite. But we were thankful to have a convenient site when the campground was filled... More
