After a long day of beautiful hikes at Bryce National Park, tired, we took a chance at securing a tent campsite. Across the road from the visitors center is this campsite. All spots were well spaced. A short walk from our campsite up the hill yield the best view seen all day. Excellent.

Nice bargain ($15 a night) and inside park so you are close to the sites!!! Snow still in shaded areas and WINDY during day. Great tables and firepits at sites. We got there around 1pm and totally had our pick of sites. Unlike others, we did not have to register every day. Ranger comes around and marks your site for... More

Was a great place to set up the tent for the night while we explored the park. Only advise would be not to pick the loop on the top of the hill. We did this by mistake and was quite windy. Other then that it was a clean quite campground. Toilet block was never too far away from most sites.... More

Walk-in only after the peak season. You have to register each day which is a hassle. Very close to trail that goes to sunset point and the general store (which has showers & laundry). If you go in the opposite direction, from sunset/general store, you'll have the trail to yourself much of the time. People who camp here don't seem... More

The North campground in bryce is very basic but right in the park. No hook up of any kind but cheap and in the park with shade, picnic tables and grills/firepits. . It is first come first serve in october and we found a spot but moved to a better one the next day as people left. We have a... More

Stayed at North Campground for 2 nights in October. Walk in only, not able to reserve site. Arrived around noon and had a big selection of open sites. Got a site in the C loop. Big site, partially shaded with big trees. Bathrooms clean but basic. Beautiful park, great Campground. Loved staying here.

Campground was full the first day we showed up just after 5pm, the second night it filled up also, but we were there early and got a premo site. The campground is first come first serve, no reservations. We stayed on Loop D and it is the third time we stayed in it. The washrooms have been renovated since the... More

We loved this camp, it was really well run, the ranger and the guests were all lovely. We had a view from our site and were within metres of some of the best parts of Bryce Canyon (and the general store). Facilities (toilets) were clean and there was a BBQ at each site too. There are loads of trees around... More

The North Campground is located just off the canyon's rim and several of the spaces are located on the rim side. The facilities are good, plenty of water taps and bathrooms, but the real attraction is to be this close to the rim especially for sunrise or sunset. The sites are spread out. Our tent site was incredible spacious. It... More

Overall this is a very nice, clean and quiet campground, although the sites are rather small and not all are level, but many offer shade. The restrooms are spotless and the park is well maintained. We tented from Aug. 27-30 and while the days were lovely (about 78 degrees), we froze at night with temperatures dropping into the low 40's.... More
