This was the priciest lodging of our cross-county trip, but it was worth it. Bryce Canyon is beautiful and we like to stay within the parks if we can. We had a cabin, with a gas fireplace. That was welcome, as it was 26 degrees in the morning. Our cabin was cozy, but with 2 beds. It also had a... More

Best place to stay in Bryce Canyon Park. We took a late night stroll around the rim and a sunrise walk along the canyon viewpoints. Our rooms were cozy and clean and we were glad we stayed I side the park so we could take many walks.

The lodges in the forest opposite the hotel are first class with all amenities that one would require. They have gas burning log fires as well as sufficient heating to keep the lodge cosy and warm.. The lodge is a short walking distance from the Bryce Canyon Amphitheater and therefore to watch both sunset and sunrise is easy and a... More

After searching till nearly crazed for a nice relaxing place to stay on vacation taking in Bryce Canyon I found that our dates had changed so that the Lodge could accommodate us (even if for just one night which was the case). We arrived and reception went smoothly; we were given the key and map and found that we were... More

Our second stop on our ten day trip to the Utah National Parks. October 26 and 27. We were delighted by the lodge when we first saw it. We had reserved a cabin 5 months in advance. The person checking us in did not know how to perform the task although she was pleasant and tried to be helpful. We... More

Although we booked pretty far in advance (January for mid-October stay), lodge rooms were already sold out. So if staying in the historic lodge or getting a cabin is important to you, be forewarned. Honestly though, our room in the "Sunrise Point" building was perfectly fine. Although of relatively new construction, they did their best to blend it with the... More

Proximity of the cabins to the rim makes them the place to stay at Bryce. Five minutes walk and we were at the rim, which is perfect for star photography. Gas fireplace created a nice atmosphere. Bathroom floor was cold on the tootsies, and the connecting door to the next cabin allowed sounds to flow back and forth. Warm and... More

Best option to see the sunrise and the sunset as the Canyon is very close (minutes walking distance). The comfort gives you the sensation of being rudimentary whereas it is quite decent. The cabins have a fireplace which adds to the frontier feeling the decoration brings. There is no Wi-Fi nor TV in the room: can you survive the challenge?

Room was nice and comfortable.. No TV. Just nice and peaceful. Rooms have a small balcony where you can sit and enjoy the quite and beauty of the park. The motel lodge was a short walking distance from Sunset point. Staying in the national park made it easy to start off to see all of the viewpoints in the park.... More

We travel to Yosemite every year and love the Ahwahnee for its location, ambience, and staff. This was our first visit to Bryce Canyon and we were disappointed. We arrived early but were unable to check in because our room was not yet ready. I understand that check in time is when you can expect to be allowed in, but... More
