You have to love this place because of, in addition to the location right at the lip of spectacular Bryce Canyon, the purity of the setting. No TV, no internet except in the lobby and no pretension. Bryce Canyon is one of the most unique places on earth and the lodge puts you right at the edge to enjoy the... More

We only had one night at Bryce canyon, and were glad to be staying in the park close to the sights we came here for. Location is what makes this a great place to stay. The main lodge is beautiful , the buildings with hotel rooms are quite spread out and away from the main lodge. They are 2 story... More

This is a "character" lodge property similar to those built by the WPA in the 1930's, and it is a very short walk to the gorgeous canyon rim! Our room on the first floor of the Sunrise wing was clean, large and comfortable with a small patio off the back and a view of the surrounding pine forest. The large... More

We spent two nights in July in one of the cabins with our two young kids. It was fantastic. Feels like a bit of wilderness but very comfortable inside. Nice beds and linens, but the historic charm of the stone fireplace and walls. A short walk through gorgeous trees takes you right to the rim of the canyon.

This was the priciest lodging of our cross-county trip, but it was worth it. Bryce Canyon is beautiful and we like to stay within the parks if we can. We had a cabin, with a gas fireplace. That was welcome, as it was 26 degrees in the morning. Our cabin was cozy, but with 2 beds. It also had a... More

Best place to stay in Bryce Canyon Park. We took a late night stroll around the rim and a sunrise walk along the canyon viewpoints. Our rooms were cozy and clean and we were glad we stayed I side the park so we could take many walks.

The lodges in the forest opposite the hotel are first class with all amenities that one would require. They have gas burning log fires as well as sufficient heating to keep the lodge cosy and warm.. The lodge is a short walking distance from the Bryce Canyon Amphitheater and therefore to watch both sunset and sunrise is easy and a... More

After searching till nearly crazed for a nice relaxing place to stay on vacation taking in Bryce Canyon I found that our dates had changed so that the Lodge could accommodate us (even if for just one night which was the case). We arrived and reception went smoothly; we were given the key and map and found that we were... More

Our second stop on our ten day trip to the Utah National Parks. October 26 and 27. We were delighted by the lodge when we first saw it. We had reserved a cabin 5 months in advance. The person checking us in did not know how to perform the task although she was pleasant and tried to be helpful. We... More

Although we booked pretty far in advance (January for mid-October stay), lodge rooms were already sold out. So if staying in the historic lodge or getting a cabin is important to you, be forewarned. Honestly though, our room in the "Sunrise Point" building was perfectly fine. Although of relatively new construction, they did their best to blend it with the... More
