Do yourself a favor and book well in advance of your stay to Bryce Canyon National Park at the Bryce Canyon Lodge. This beautiful historic lodge sits just a hop and a skip to the canyons rim. The bulk of the lodgings are beautiful cabins surrounding the lodge. The lodge takes you back to a day gone by, a homey... More

We were here October 2 and 3. A place to really enjoy nature where there are no distractions. No TV, no internet. Quiet. We stayed in one of the Sunrise rooms. Easy walk over to the rim to take in the majestic view. Sunrise is fantastic. Rode horseback down into the canyon. What a wonderful experience. the lodge offers fine... More

We loved the freshness of the air at the Lodge. The decoration of the room was sympathetic to the history of the area and it was rustic but comfortable. The a la carte breakfast was a better option than the buffet.

Our party of four spent one night in two Sunrise hotel rooms as part of a Southwest National Park family vacation in late June, 2014. We are frequent visitors to National Parks, and usually prefer the authenticity of historic lodging over the amenities of newer accommodations outside of the Parks. We arrived in the evening and checked into our rooms... More

Great Trekking locale, magnificent views, Hoodoos, great trails, as some of the other reviews have said no TV, internet, no disruption. This is one to see if you haven't if you like hiking you'll love this place.

There are two lodges with queen and king beds and a series of single cabins with queen beds and fireplaces. The rooms in the lodges have balconies, but my sister's cabin was much roomier with a table, fireplace and two queen beds. Food is provided at the main lodge (where there are no longer sleeping accommodations.) Not bad for a... More

You have to love this place because of, in addition to the location right at the lip of spectacular Bryce Canyon, the purity of the setting. No TV, no internet except in the lobby and no pretension. Bryce Canyon is one of the most unique places on earth and the lodge puts you right at the edge to enjoy the... More

We only had one night at Bryce canyon, and were glad to be staying in the park close to the sights we came here for. Location is what makes this a great place to stay. The main lodge is beautiful , the buildings with hotel rooms are quite spread out and away from the main lodge. They are 2 story... More

This is a "character" lodge property similar to those built by the WPA in the 1930's, and it is a very short walk to the gorgeous canyon rim! Our room on the first floor of the Sunrise wing was clean, large and comfortable with a small patio off the back and a view of the surrounding pine forest. The large... More

We spent two nights in July in one of the cabins with our two young kids. It was fantastic. Feels like a bit of wilderness but very comfortable inside. Nice beds and linens, but the historic charm of the stone fireplace and walls. A short walk through gorgeous trees takes you right to the rim of the canyon.
