Paid 50 euro for a transfer from the airport, but the transfer never showed up. We called the hotel and they said the transfer was on the way. After about 20 minutes in record heat, we chose our own cab and paid 20 euro to go to the hotel. We requested a refund on the airport transfer, but the hotel staff declined. Instead they asked for a taxi receipt to prove we paid for a cab. Seriously? I recommend not questioning your guests' integrity. Our room seemed more or less clean, but not going to win awards in that area. Also, there was a large chair missing one of the four feet, so it constantly wobbled. We did not bother to tell the hotel staff about this, as they were generally unwelcoming and we did not expect any resolution. Cut our trip short and went to another hotel.

Dear guest, We appreciate you took the time to leave your comments even after quite a long time since your stay, which makes it not very easy for us to recall details. We are also sorry to hear that your experience was frustrating, but we appreciate bringing this to our notice. We would like also to clarify that in cases where we are asked for refunds, we need to make sure that we know what has happened and ask questions as well as ask for proof in order to make a decision. We feel sorry if the way it was handled felt offensive. Nevertheless, it was a rare occurrence, and we'll work harder to prevent similar incidents in the future. Best regards, Palatino Hotel

The staff was extremely helpful to give us tips on our time in Zakynthos. There is a very handy shower room that helped us to refresh after enjoying one more day at the beach (Zante Town beach is just outside the hotel) before heading to the airport. Great location and restaurant.

Spent a lovely week in this hotel in September 2022, our room was on the 4th floor with a sea view. The room was comfortable and clean, the balcony quite small but still could accommodate had two chairs and a table. The room was cleaned daily and thoroughly. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, the buffet breakfast was fresh and well presented and constantly topped up. Reception was always manned by professional and friendly staff down to the welcoming drink on arrival to the heartfelt wave and safe journey wishes on departure and all the questions in between re local information. In summary, a well run and friendly hotel and would stay again.

Very satisfied with this urban hotel. It’s totally on the centre of Zakynthos town. Specifically 4’ minutes walk from San Marco square, which is perfect for day ‘n nights strolls. The staff was kind and friendly and even gave us instructions for our itinerary on demand. The breakfast was excellent with variety in savory and sweets options, included traditional dishes like cheesepie or spanakopita every day and the more noteworthy is that it was qualitative enough. The room was nice though compact, clean and feautured a balcony with the city view. A remarkable is definately that they offered us a welcome drink , beer or wine, in hotel’s bar. We will visit it again for sure.

Excellent location, just minutes away from the heart of Zante town, and literally two minutes walk from a lovely beach. If you get a room with a balcony you will have a beautiful view and great sunrises. Very helpful staff too - but this seems to be the rule in Greece - and good breakfast. This is a great place to stay in Zante and explore the island.

Nice location within walking distance from solomos square and breakfast was good. We stay in the hotel for two nights. As we have a sea view balcony, we are able to see sunrise from our balcony. Highly recommend the hotel.
