We stayed for two nights while visiting friends in the very lovely Marrema mountain village of Roccalbegna. The hotel is very small but has a very large welcome. In this special hotel we made very good friends with the family. Very friendly, I loved the Senora, as she tried to battle with her bit of English as we did with our Italian, but we understood each other perfectly. Friendliest hotel run by a family of father, mother and son who are completely dedicated to making your stay comfortable and pleasant. Last minute driving around and what a find! A wonderful family team to house and feed us. Not just any food either. Fresh and made with love. The ice cream flavours sound strange, I had peach and lavendar - OMG the party in my mouth, absolutely sensational!! Stay, do yourself a favour.
