We've just spent a week in the Bluebell yurt. It was fab. The weather was glorious which helped a lot but the farm also provided such a fantastic environment for the kids (7, 5 and 2). The yurts and safari tents are really well spaced so we didn't feel like we were on top of the other families (or disturbing... More

My husband and I have just returned from a weeks stay in the yurt Clover, with our 3 small boys aged 6, 4 and 3. We simply cannot fault anything about this glamping experience and will be booking again for summer 2015! I hadn't packed myself a book thinking I simply wouldn't have time to read with the boys about,... More

I stayed last year, loved it and booked it immediately on our return ( a year ahead!!). I was a little nervous to see if lived up to our magical first time memory and all I can say was that it was even better second time around. It's the same as it was before, just perfect. The kids were playing... More

We visited cuckoo down farm last week and had a fantastic time. We stayed in a safari tent and it was very clean and well decorated and maintained. The farm felt worlds away anywhere yet in easy reach from all the main attractions in Devon. Well worth a visit and highly recommended by both my husband and me.

This being our first foray into the world of 'glamping', I must admit that we had reservations, however, these immediately ebbed away as we pulled into 'Cuckoo Down Farm' and were met by the owner John, his dog Lilly, several chickens and two goats. Our two children (aged four and eight) were overwhelmed by the freedom of the place and... More

We are just back from 4 fantastic days staying in the yurt Bluebell and we now cant wait to book and go back again! The whole experience was perfect and our 2 children (5 & 7 years old) loved every second of it. The site is picture perfect and allowed the children so much space and freedom. The adjacent wood... This was my second visit to Cuckoo down farm, and we fell in love all over again. We were a group of 5 families, and booked all 3 yurts and both safari tents. Our children ranged from 5-11, they all had so much fun playing and exploring! We made dens in the woodlands and played in the stream. We had... More

Took a risk booking a week in early April but we were lucky and had fantastic weather! We stayed in Daisy, one of the Safari Tents and there was loads of space especially as only 3 of us. Fab place for young children to explore and enjoy nature. Lovely family who run the farm and Lilly, their dog, is a... More

Our family went to Cuckoo Down farm for three nights in November this year for my wife's birthday. We had a fantastic time! The Safari tent was robust with wooden flooring, plenty of space and perfectly warm and cosy with the wood burner on. It was such a luxuriously relaxing time being alone in the field. The beds were extremely... More
