Although this place is only a short stay from town it does get a lot of noise from the highway. The rooms were adequate for the price but needed a freshen up. We stayed for a few days because we couldn't get accommodation anywhere else in Lithgow. The restaurant was closed for the week apparently so couldn't judge the meals.... More

Good location ,even though it is on a highway. Did not like the fact that there small [ but newish ] rooms where lacking in simple things like a toaster and microwave. They really want you to each at there restaurant or order there breakfast. First night there unable to shower due to no hot water, freezing cold night and... More

Motels are pretty much motels. Some good points though. It was quiet given its close proximity to the highway. Room was clean and comfortable with appropriate heating given the season. Shower had good pressure and the water was hot. Good towels and real milk for your tea and coffee. Would stay again if passing through the area.

We stayed on the Ironfest weekend 2013 for two nights in a twin room. The room had three single beds but was rather small and while it accommodated one adult and one child comfortably one more would be a squeeze. The bathroom was huge! And catered for people with disabilities. It was more of a wet room, so EVERYTHING got... More

I stayed with my adult daughter for three nights. Good - beds and clean - AC works well and plenty of hot water - given bottle of water in fridge - location close to amenities - easy to find - clean gravel outside - no crazy or loud guests Average/poor - website not working properly had to ring for a... My daughter and I stayed 2 nights on the bathurst race weekend, 4&5th of the 10/ 2012.The motel is not the most modern, but in saying that ,the room was a reasonable size with plenty of hanging space, a good size flatscreen tv and the 2 beds, 1 queen and 1 single were very comfortable. The room and bathroom appear to... Motels are what they are, and within their own particular genre can range from squalid to a convenient and appropriate place to stay. Lithgow Parkside Motor Inn is very clean and well presented, with a good size TV, effective heating (which would also equate to effective cooling in summer), and a clean bathroom. The bed was comfortable with good sheets.... More

Having made a late decision to spend Easter (2012) in the Blue Mountains, we found options very limited... I booked this motel with low expectations, based on various internet reviews, and was happily surprised. On arrival we checked in with an unfriendly lady who rather amusingly scared us all (2 couples). Having lived in Australia for 3 years, I have... More

We stayed on Feb 21 this year. There are few motels in Lithgow otherwise we wouldn't have stayed. For $100 we got a twin room at the back ($10 extra for the extra laundry!). The general impression was that the motel needed a lot of attention and a good clean. The dog wandering about was not so inviting either. Overpriced... More

I dropped in for one night and got a room for $90. The room was of perfectly good motel standard with a comfortable double bed, flat-screen TV and a small fridge. In terms of cleanliness and general shape it was above expectations. The two downsides are almost omnipresent for motels (at least in Australia), i.e: safety and noise. I would... More
