My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Tomah Mountain Lodge in February 2012 during a motor trip in NE NSW. Bill and Gai Johns warmly welcomed us to their immaculate lodge located in the beautiful Blue Mountains and adjacent to the World Heritage Site Mount Tomah Botanical Gardens. My wife and I are deeply interested in natural history... More

A quiet place to relax and read by a winter log fire. Go for a walk in the brisk mountain air and return to a cup of your favourite beverage and a fireside chat. Look at the magnificent birdlife in the garden and just get away. This is not a hotel or a restaurant, its a lodge and the hosts... More

Unfortunately this was one of the wierdest travel experiences we have ever had. peterfromtheUK hit the nail on the head... the proprietor hovers, making you feel very uncomfortable. We tried to engage in conversation, but it was quickly shut down. We offered to open & share... More

This B&B calls itself a lodge, but that is wishful thinking. What you get is a small bedroom in someone's house, albeit quite a nice house. The garden is nice but the location is 30 km from anywhere but Mt. Tomah. Proprietor hovers, making one feel very uncomfortable. Put a lot of pressure on ordering their "candlelight gourmet dinner" at... More
