We stayed at Il Leccio in October, 2014, for a week, with another relatives and family... and we had our wedding party there! It was amazing! The house is perfect and Giada, the owner, made every effort to keep everybody comfortable. All the guests were enchanted by the beauty of the place and the quality of the services. Breakfast was... We made Villa Il Leccio our base in Tuscany and it was an experience we will never forget! After driving from Rome in our fleet of Fiat 500s, we arrived and saw this beautiful villa surrounded by lush gardens and scenery. Out of our party of 6, I was lucky enough to enjoy the 'Camera Dei Padroni', the original bedrooms... More

Villa Il Leccio for us was perfect - a huge room, clean and comfortable. Nothing over stated, more classical décor and furniture in keeping with a property steeped in history dating back to the 1200's. In the same family for 9 generations, the second we walked through the door we felt like we were guests in a home rather a... More

Stayed here for three nights en route to Umbria. This is a guest house not a hotel per se and the house is very interesting - the breakfast room has a fantastic profile for example, really emphasizing how old this property is. We had a very big room or more like three rooms all connected together which was just perfect... More

So much history and the ambiance of the place was fairy tale Italy. the hosts were extremely gracious- very helpful, courteous and valued our privacy. being... More

I have made numerous reviews but until now never enjoyed making one as i have with this. This place is above perfection! The house is full of antiques and frescos with the most well found furniture and beautiful original features. From the moment we were greeted (lovely glass of Chianti wine) to the overall experience, this is a place where... More

We can not rate Villa Il Leccio highly enough. We were fortunate enough that our wedding planner found this stunning venue for us and in August 2013 the Villa played host to our families for a week long stay and we got married at the property. During our stay Gianda, Maria Lusia and Gregorio were absolutely amazing, incredibly welcoming and... More

We were very fortunate to be tipped off about this beautiful villa. The property dates back to the 12th century. They are doing a wonderful (and very costly) job of restoration. This is a family labour of love. The daughter of the current owner (Gianda), was our main contact. What a warm, wonderful person. Gianda and her mother ( Maria... More
