We stayed here for one night. On first impressions, the hotel looked like the hundreds of other B&Bs along the south coast - we were welcomed and shown to our room. This looked very nice... then we started finding little niggles which just took the shine off an otherwise lovely place...
The floor in the bathroom obviously hadn't been cleaned - there was hair and other bits underneath the sink.
The toilet seat was hanging on by just one bolt.
The shower head was in desparate need of replacement, to fix the dribble coming out.
And then, to top it all - we found a cherry tomato underneath the radiator, on the carpet in the bedroom.
All of these things could easily be fixed for little cost - and attention to detail when cleaning.
And a final word - if you don't like spiders, make sure you request a room on the first floor - there is a huge stuffed spider mounted on the wall on the stairs between the first and second floors!
