Stayed at Cedar Creek Lodges the weekend following the Australia Day floods that tore down the mountain. While it was evident that the management had a lot of work to do to get it back to its old self, it didn't affect our stay. We stayed in a room in the Wallaby Lodge which was small but sufficient for my... More

Thank you for your kind words. The mountain (and our resort) were indeed hit quite hard by the Australia Day floods/rain however everything is back to normal and the property is looking fabulous. We are so pleased your stay with us wasn't ruined by the weather. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future (hopefully on a much... More

I stayed in one of the 3 bedroom lodges, it was grubby and greasy, the carpets were filthy and sticky, the barrooms was as bad and shower screen broken and full of mould, the vanity was falling apart and several bulbs were blown, at 280 dollars a night I expected more. You also gave to pay 20 linen service for... More

It was great to read the comments on our friendly staff, who we agree are amazing, and the size of Lorikeet Lodge, as it is very roomy. It is an older style apartment and it is unfortunate these guests did not enjoy their stay in it. The images on our website are definitely of Lorikeet Lodge, taken only two months... More

Although this hotel isn't in the best location at Mt Tamborine it's still a nice little spot. There is heaps to do for young kids, ours was a bit too little bit she still loved the pony rides and had to go both days. Dinner at the restaurant was nice, the wood fired pizza was great. The bar looks great... More

Thank you for your feedback. We were pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. It is quite hard to compare our business with others on the mountain as we offer such unique accommodation and adventure activites. We lucked out with our location as it is only a 5 minute drive from the top of the mountain to our... More

Nice, neat property. Lots to do! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the included breakfast was yummy! It was nice to see the wildlife, lorikeets at breakfast time were great! Short drive to a lovely street of shops, cafes and wineries. The avocados to buy on the side of the road were great! The glow worm caves were interesting... More

I just had to post another review about a wedding I attended at Cedar Creek, it was absolutely beautiful. The Rainforest Amphitheatre for the ceremony was fabulous with a giant palm tree across the creek and the manicured gardens leading up to the stage. The reception was held in the area next door. The Island Glade I think that's the... More

We are pleased this guest enjoyed attending one of our weddings and appreciated our attention to detail which is our signature trademark. Cedar Creek Lodges is a popular wedding venue as it is a ‘one stop shop’, making the lead-up to the wedding and the wedding day itself stress free and a wonderful experience for not only the bridal party;... We booked for the luxury spa room for a weekend getaway. The room was clean and the spa was very spacious. The bed was comfy and many pillows are provided. We were quite satisfied with the room that we had, and the experience would have been great if it wasn't for the restaurant and lack in service. The first night... More

Unfortunately, family accommodation on Mt Tambourine is limited so we had to stay in a 3 BR unit at Cedar Creek. The two positives were the friendly staff and the big size of the unit. That's where it ended. The unit was dusty with dead insects scattered liberally throughout - including in the fridge. It needed a new coat of... More

We stayed 2 nights at Platypus Lodge in a superior room. The check-in went smoothly, the room was old and dirty and so we had to ask for an additional clean up. If you feel like spending nights with mice in your room, eating your complimentary cookies, you are more than welcome. The amenities are rather limited, the swimming is tiny... More

It was great to read that this couple enjoyed the food and the peaceful ambience within our restaurant; however we find it harsh regarding other aspects. The Superior Rooms in Platypus Lodge have been completely renovated in the last 2 years with fabulous bathrooms, flat screen TVs and comfortable bedding (a king and queen beds). A decision we have made... More

The trip to the Lodge was up Henry Roberts drive to North Tamborine then down though a very scenic windy rainforest road (sealed) down to the Cedar Creek Lodge nestled in a sheltered valley. The welcome at reception was very friendly - the room in Frog Lodge was clean and nicely fitted out. The food at the restaurant was excellent... More

Firstly I would like to state that I am not a complainer, but was compelled to write a review of our bad experience. We did not get the room we had booked, which was with a king and a queen bed, so I had to share a bed with my daughter as there were no others available and we were... More

It was disappointing this guest and her daughter did not enjoy their stay and the upgrade to a spa room. As there was a large group in-house at the same time, our breakfasts were held in the Miner’s Lantern Club Lounge with valuable antiques, leather chesterfield settees and a brand new carpet – hardly “a filthy back room with very...
