This pub has a nice friendly atmosphere, and serves great food, in large quantities, but at reasonable prices. Its in a convenient location, being adjacent to Pembrey and Burry Port railway station, and I would certainly recommend it.

The food is adequate, clean, wholesome and reasonably priced. Background music is loud and Radio 2ish if you like that sort of thing. Lighting is low and the interior bland. Staff are friendly and the service is prompt.

Booked in for three nights. Very warm welcome from landlord and landlady. Nice big, very clean twin bedded room. Breakfast excellent. Did not use restaurant at night as we had family in the area, but people who did so had nothing but praise. Towels changed every day. All the staff made us feel comfortable and on the day we left... Have visited before on a few occasions. This time we booked short notice for a party of 7 of us. They managed to squeeze us in ok & were very honest that there was only enough for 2 of us to have steak. This wasn't an issue as plenty more on the menu. Lovely meal as usual with very generous... We chose to eat here for a friends birthday as we'd heard good things. One of our party of 8, who had made the booking was told that she had to say if we required steaks, in advance, which is unusual. As a vegetarian, the choice was very limited for me. I had a nut cutlet which was very burnt.... More

I was introduced to this place by a friend of mine, who described the food as 'simple but good'. We booked a table for Friday 18th July and were greeted by a friendly landlord and landlady - he had a good sense of humour and she had a face full of smiles. The food menu was varied, with a handful... More

The best dinner to be had in Burry Port. Delicious chips. Waiter very friendly and helpful as were the rest of the staff. Would definitely eat here again if visiting the area. Toilets spotless too- always a good indicator for a good place to eat.

Booked 11 people for 50th birthday in advance, was asked how many steaks we needed! obviously need to see the menu, surely you're allowed to choose at the time. Meal was booked for 7pm, took our order at 7.45pm, were very quiet so why the delay? After ordering 4 steaks were then told there were no more, bear in mind they... More

Just had food here and I got to say I thoroughly enjoyed every piece. Service with a smile, very reasonable price and I can well recommend 'The Neptune burger' with real homemade chips. Full to the brim now, thanks
