We are now regular visitors to the restaurant in this hotel, for those with an appetite you will not be disappointed, good variety, good quality, reasonably priced and excellent presentation, well worth the 30 minuites drive from our home. We found Caroline and her staff very welcoming.

I called at Caulfield's Hotel again for lunch last Wednesday with my wife. Once again a faultless meal meal & fantastic value. There is a mid-week carvery on a Wednesday which looked very good, but we ordered from the 2 meals for £9 menu. I have 2 pork steaks, chips, peas & apple cider gravy & the meal was delicious,... Went for lunch with a friend during the week and found the barmaids attitude quite rude towards us and then despite ordering food and a drink were refused a glass of plain tap water. The food itself was very nice and good value, but we found the barmaids rudeness spoiled our lunchtime and we probably won't be going back.

Caulfields is open all day every day & has a bar, lounge & restaurant. For smokers there is also a large covered & heated smoking area adjacent to the bar. The food here is very good & very affordable. On my last visit for lunch there was a decent choice from 3 menu options.. There is the 'credit crunch' menu... More

I was looking for somewhere to stay as I was working in the area....By chance I called in. 8 months later I'm still there!! It is an absolute gem and a real home from home. Caroline and Richard (the owners) really look after you and the locals in the Bar areas take to you like one of their own. The... More
