Booked an overnight stay here for a little retail therapy at Cheshire Oaks, 5 minutes away. Have stayed at other Travelodges around the country but this was one of the worse. Hotel can be found behind a Little Chef so is quite difficult to spot unless you know it's there. The first thing that hit you when you entered the... more

Unless you are getting this room at the saver rate of £19 or less then it is not worth staying you can get much better for the same kind of money. For a place to sleep for one night only then it is fine. Our sheets were clean, the bed a little soft, the bathroom old but fairly clean. The... more

Having previosly stayed in Travelodges on this trip this one has to be the WORST!! It is worse than Fawlty Towers!! Rooms are dirty, dusty and stink! The car park smells of urine which can be smelt the way up the path. Bathroom is disgusting. Our toilet hadn't been cleaned for ages!! Surprised we didn't catch anything! I'm surprised Travelodge... more

This place is revolting, so much so that I seriously doubt the validity of the previous reviews that state it's had a facelift and is better. I have honestly never stayed anywhere so awful. We had stayed in Travelodges previously and always found them to be basic but clean and functional. When we arrived at this one, at 1.00am following... more

We book this hotel early so we got a very good price. We were wanting a room just to sleep in since we were arriving at midnight and leaving early the next day and this travelodge did the task perfectly. The room was clean, tidy and warm. It is just off the motorway in an area which does not have... more

Previous recent reveiws are accurate. It is tucked away behind a grotty looking Little Chef. The path up to the hotel is uneven to say the least/ Altogether I was offered 5 rooms. The first stank of stale tobacco. The next had a mattress that someone had an accident on the middle of,this had been turned over and the previous... more

Oh my god all mighty!!! What a dump!!! We were on a girls weekend and arrived at this hotel that is in the middle of nowhere behind a dirty Little Chef, the whole car park smells of grease! Three of us booked into the one room for three nights, I had to sleep on the couch (Which i wouldn’t normally... more

The standards of this Travel Lodge are well below the average. Stains on the matress, torn sheets, mould on tiles, walls filthy, no remote, a 2seater couch used as a single bed is ridiculous, burnt containers to one side of the Travel Lodge, path up to front door is uneven and dangerous, no lift, cold, smelly, staff of 2 on... more

This was a last minute booking as we needed a room in the area. I wish we'd tried harder to find somewhere else. The receptionists we encountered were polite and friendly, but the problem was with the room itself. Certainly Travelodge doesn't provide the 'extras' you would get elsewhere, but we've stayed in Travelodges before and knew what to expect.... more

Stayed last night in this hotel and I was amazed at the transformation, fresh clean walls and new carpets, very pleasant and accommodating staff. I had stayed here a while back it was just ok but this new facelift has done wonders for the place. Very handy to Cheshire Oaks shopping outlet and liverpool airport. Will definately be returning very... more
