Stayedchere for 3 nights. All in all not a bad place to visit stay with our dog as very dog friendly and very busy the 3 nights. Breakfast very good including a bowl of sausage for the dog. In the pub there is too much emphasis on Cider. As much as I like cider the whole bar area was just... More

We stayed 4 nights at the Castle Inn, our first break in the UK for years, also the first time we've taken a dog on holiday. The pub itself is postcard pretty on the outside, but would be much better inside if they took away the modern pictures and some of the clutter. We didn't notice a dog smell that... More

Having read all the good reviews, we booked for last week. Admittedly dog friendly (to the extreme) Our room had mouldy window frames. The bedding did not match, duvet thick and hard. The bath was new and we had lots of piping hot water. Unfortunately the towels were cream coloured and rough. You had to ask to borrow a hair... More

Had a 3 night stay at the Castle Inn with husband and our dog. The most dog friendly place we have ever stayed. The location is great, the food is good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. A fabulous part of the country to visit and a very welcoming place to stay. Lots of dogs - and their... More

We stopped here after a hike down at Durdle Door and we were headed towards Corfe Castle. Would recommend as a good place to stop. The selection of ales and ciders was very good and oh-so-welcome after our hike. We ordered a ploughman's lunch and enjoyed it in the beer garden in the back.

Having eaten and drank here before, and being dog-owners, decided to come back and stay for 2 nights. All the young staff are extremely friendly and helpful, being a cider drinker, was helped in my choices too, although room-temperature flat cider, on a hot day is not my thing. had lunch and evening meal on first day, very nice. Proper... More

This pub was a great find. has eaten in the pub down the road which was disgusting. The Permanent Dorset Cider Festival was a charm. with lots of different tastes which my husband loved. Dog friendly as well which was kind of nice

Stayed for 1 night at this "dog friendly " hotel, because everywhere else was booked. They warned us about the dogs, which were in every area, so fair enough. They have a permanent cider festival on, which is a redeeming feature. The evening meal menu is lack lustre and the breakfast was mediocre at best, with no fruit salad, over... More
