After a night camping out in a small tent in the rain, when there wasn't a bed available anywhere, I was lucky to find Tewkesbury Cottage had a vacancy. In fact, they were technically closed while renovating a bathroom, but took me in nevertheless. I had a double room, which was quite small just for me, so I imagine it... More

The hosts were extremely welcoming and the breakfast was filling. Our dog especially welcomed the sausage for breakfast. The location was excellent and was situated within 10 minutes walking distance of the coast and between 2 extremely good pubs which welcomed dogs. The accommodation was clean. However the room was extremely small. We could not walk around the bed once... More

We had a lovely break at Tewksbury cottage. Location is perfect so near the beach- walking distance to lulworth cove and Durdle door. The cottage is very spacious and well maintained. The games room is a bonus. Our children loved the pool table and darts. Lots to see locally too- beautiful place- would recommend to families with young children.

Managed to get a very late booking in the cottage for a wedding in the local area. Jackie was very flexible with arrival timings and incredibly hospitable. The cottage is lovely, rooms are cosy and the shared facilities very clean. Price wise it is very very reasonable compared to competition (other wedding guests were lamenting paying 50% more for something... More

We were booked into this B & B by Contours Walking Holidays. We received a very warm welcome from Jackie. We had the only en-suite room which had a very welcome bath for tow walkers with aching muscles. The room was clean and comfortable in this lovely 400year old thatched property. We stayed for 2 nights and could not fault... More
