The two nights we stayed at Forge Cottage were the most restful and peaceful of our week and a half visit to the UK. After an overnight flight from the U.S., we met our daughter in London and took the train to the Jurassic Coast. Forge Cottage in Lulworth Cove proved to be an excellent location to spend two days... We had a lovely quiet and peaceful stay at this quaint bed and breakfast hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for our host, hearty tasty breakfasts and gorgeous home baked croissants. Lulworth is totally unspoilt and feels like going back in time.

We stayed in the downstairs, ensuite room. Lovely and clean, all you could need tea, coffee, toiletries etc. Great shower! Very friendly and breakfasts really good. Only 5 minute walk from the Bay. Lots of places to eat both in village and down at Bay. Also tourist information office there to give advice.

A lovely B&B, relaxing lounge, clean rooms, excellent location, so close to the fantastic Lulworth Coastal Walk that is a must and local pub. There was no rush to move our car on the day of departure which we appreciated whilst walking everywhere in the local area. Yvette and Hugo Australia

Breakfast were amazing both Continental and English. The Cottage is really in a good location, the pub is less than 5 minutes walking and Lulworth Cove is really near too. Overall we had an... More

So pleased we came for the weekend. Nice rooms. Delicious breakfast. Inviting and friendly hostess (who let us use her parking after we checked out). Excellent location for lulworth cove and surrounding pubs and restaurants. Stay here you will not be disappointed.

Great location and fairly priced, however, little more attention to detail in the room would make it more comfortable and warming. We had a large bedroom yet a small 4ft 6 ins bed. No colour or pictures on the walls. The towels were so hard and rough and just bearable to use.

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying in Lesley's lovely B&B on 6 July. The only thing we were sincerely sorry about was the fact that we couldn't stay longer. Lesley is truly nice and very helpful. We enjoyed a really good home-made breakfast (english & continental), our room was spotless and the village itself and the surroundings... More
