While on the walkers Haute Route recently I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel. I had been staying in Cabanes up to this and decided to spoil myself. I wasn't disappointed, comfort, cleanliness and hospitality were in abounds.

Our room on the top floor included a couch, a very comfy bed, and a super clean, neat, bathroom. We had to rearrange our future accommodations and the owner graciously called many places for us to find a room as we don't speak French or German. She also accommodated our respective vegetarian and gluten free diets with great food! Amazing... More

Great rooms, particularly the two ones on last floor. Hospitality was excellent and we had a great dinner with raclette cheese kindly served by the owner's son Dany. The owner played the accordion and had a great sense of humour.

The room was immaculate and very comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. The staff were wonderful and made us an excellent dinner and came... More

I loved this place, and I loved Les Hauderes. Super tidy little hotel, comfortable rooms. I had a single overlooking the church but sounds like the doubles have nice balconies as well. Pleasant little bar downstairs. The restaurant was closed since a monday. Best part was Claudia the owner/host who was so friendly and welcoming. And great value as well... More

The rooms were so lovely and clean and the view was straight out of the novel "Heidi". The atmosphere was quaint, the staff incredibly accommodating, and the food was so fresh and delicious, the hostess ( owner ) actually made soup to go with our lunch one day with herbs from her kitchen garden window boxes! It was the best... More

Hotel Melezes is a delightful family-run business with the efficient and welcoming Claudia at the helm. Friendly, pleasant and helpful staff, excellent kitchen, good rooms, recently modernized bathrooms, close to postbus and shops. What's not to love? Oh yes, the wifi.... or lack of. Paradox of connectivity. It appeared to work, yet I couldn't connect. If you stay on a... More
