A peaceful retreat in the country with great hosts who wanted to help in every way with things to do. We visited here for three nights and had the downstairs family room which was very spacious. The bathroom was a shower wet room adapted for disabled use. It was excellent but the washbasin was a little challenging because of its... More

A beautifully located B & B with adjacent self-catering cottages. Plenty of room to park and your own private access to the rooms. A lovely nature trail around the farm. A hearty breakfast in a communal dining room. We had a family room with a disabled bathroom which was a bit challenging eg low sink so suggest you ask for... More

This place was booked by my other half for a weekend get away. I was gob smacked by the look of the place, you can tell that the owners have spent a lots of time on these cottages. The finish was perfect. We were welcomed on arrival and shown around the cottage. The welcome basket was perfect and even had... More

We were welcomed on arrival at the B&B and were shown to our room. The room was comfortable with large bed, bathroom, tea & coffee facilities, fridge and TV. We explained that we were interested in nature walks and seeing the Red Kites in the area and they were very helpful. They brought us lots of information, leaflets and books... More

We have just got back from a lovely nght's stay B&B with my partner's daugher, her husband and children (birthday treat). I can't praise this too highly - we have travelled all over the world and this has to be the nicest place we've stayed. Great reception, lovely spacious rooms, comfortable and clean, and breakfast was superb with nothing too... More

I've stayed here before, for the Llywelyn ap Gruffydd commemoration in 2013, and had to stay again. My bedroom was massive, the views from it excellent across countryside and the place is quiet and spotless. Richard and Jane are very friendly, and breakfast is all from local ingredients - I've worked in over 20 countries and cannot remember a better... More

This was my third visit to the b&b. Some friends and I have stayed there as a base for mountain biking. Jane and Richard could not be more welcoming and help in any way they can. The breakfasts are legendary! You won't need lunch. The rooms are spacious and beautifully clean. The slightly remote setting adds to its charm but... More

Wonderful B & B in Cilmery, just outside Builth Wells in a true country setting surrounded by fields of sheep. Great welcome from hosts Jane and Richard. Very spacious room (Gwenllian)with King size bed and en suite with shower. Very peaceful and provided for a comfortable nights sleep. Facilities for making tea is great for the morning. Just returned from a stay in Pwllyn Cottage. Girly family break, along with my 17 month old boy. 4 generations of us! The cottage was very clean, well equipped and cosy! The hot tub was amazing and well used! Travel cot and high chair, also plenty of towels and bed linen provided. Lots of space and wonderful views! Lovely welcome... More

Stayed for 2 nights and wish it had been longer. Must be the best b&b we have ever stayed in. Lovely large clean room, fantastic home cooked food and Jane and Richard couldn't have been more helpful. Richard's a mine of information about the area. Will definitely be going back it was so good.
