Just a heads up travellers, I recently passed through motcombe village and this B&B is now a private residence. Little Corner B&B, Moot cottage and Motcombe Hall (formerly Church house) are still operational.

This Cottage was absolutely lovely. We had a very warm welcolme from Connie. The service we had was just the best from any B&B we've been to, and the Cottage was spotless. The cream tea that was waiting for us was just the thing to relax us after a long drive, and we had a lovely surprise when we returned... More

A fantastic find! Our stay in this delightful thatched cottage paintstakingly restored from deriliction by its owner Connie, was a welcome retreat from the rat race. The care and attention over the details is second to none. We arrived late (10pm) to find the bed turned down and a night tray offering chocolate, cookies and chocolates. In the morning fresh... Tucked away in the small village of Motcombe just outside Shaftesbury in Dorset, this terrific 300 year-old thatched B&B with two rooms is a real find. The wonderful owner (and her four cats and dog) give you a fantastic welcome - with a home-made cream tea on arrival included in the very reasonable price. The rooms are spotless and have... More
