The property is very interesting. Traditional, very well maintained and decorated with great taste. Our superior room was very spacious, overlooking the garden, and the bathroom was modern. Breakfast is very complete. We really enjoyed the heated outdoor pool, excellent for spending the afternoon. There don't seem to be any restaurants within walking distance, but there are many starting as... More

An old converted village farmhouse with beautiful grounds, somewhat off the beaten track, so a drive away from any restaurants and bars. The conversion is lovely with a choice of rooms ranging from the comfortable to the luxurious. The garden also boasts a swimming pool and the house has plenty of comfortable communal rooms. The location may be isolated, but... More

We stayed here in July 2011 for three days, and found the location and accommodation perfect for our needs. It is quite isolated, being in a very small village with few amenities, and you do have to drive for a few minutes to find a restaurant, but there are some VERY good ones quite close - the owners are very... We spent two nights in Clos Sainte Marie. 1) Nice bb but far from everything. No restaurants/cafés nearby. 2) The place is next to a busy road which is a little bit noisy. 3) Rooms are perfect but expensive. Furthermore, we were promised a suite with bathtub and we were given a (very nice) room with a shower. CCL: Nice... More

The hotel is very nice and like a small little home at the country side. The lady in charge is very polite and very hospitable. One major problem with the hotel is the location since no restaurants are around, it is away from the river and all the attractions in the area nearby, so unless you have a car with... More

My wife and I stayed in Le Clos Sainte-Marie while on a Motorbike tour in September 2009. We had originally booked for two nights but were so impressed we asked to extend our stay for an extra two! Madame Bridget was very hospitable. The rooms were large and air conditioned. the heated swimming pool was wonderful. Breakfast was communal and... More

Stayed here in August for a couple of nights. The room was beautifully presented, scrupulously clean and neat. Bright airy room, very large with air-conditioning (great as was hot outside when we arrived). Fantastic bathroom, with nice shampoo and shower gel provided. Went swimming in the heated pool (very nice), walked around Mesland, did some wine tasting in a local... More
