What's fabulous about this place... you have to be there on a high tide, sipping a cold beer on the restaurant deck, watching kids reel in fish from the beach to appreciate how awesome this place is....plus you need a 4wd to access via a courrugated, dirt road. Staff are friendly and welcoming, food is ok, as well as pricing.... More

Very disappointed in our stay. We had a beach front family room and paid the weekend price. Under the beds was filthy and hairs were still in the shower. I would rate it as a beach shack not resort as we had expected. We had families under our house that were from further back rooms that kept us up at... More

We had a midweek stay in cabins overlooking the beach, we could watch the sunrise in the morning and the view was superb. The kids played in the pool(s) (they had to try both out) and collected shells, rocks and sticks, played with paper planes, fed a wallaby and didn't notice the absent TV (fantastic!). We hired one of Crab... More

Great find, out of the way of the normal tourists and backpackers. Just 19 camping sites plus elevated accommodation. The open bar and dining area is ideal for spending the day relaxing, the fans keep the area cool. The wildlife and birds are on your doorstep. Great photo opportunities.

We have just spent the last 4 days here in the camping area. It is a very special part of the NT. An idyllic setting with a great elevated open dining, bar area overlooking the bay along with two very refreshing swimming pools For those with boats fantastic, for those without you can hire great boats from the resort or sit... The 15 km dirt road limits customers but makes the place a great out of the way stop for caravans and resort tourists. The lunch menu is vary basic, overpriced but the view is sensational. Take or hire a boat with a few crab pots and you are guaranteed some big muddies. Two pools but surprisingly chilly during winter. Boat... More

Great place if you can stand the annoying insects one of which happens to be the current manager. This guy has no idea how to even begin to be helpful or even friendly for that matter. And ordering a meal at the resturant is a 50/50 gamble on if will even get served. We use to love this place but... More

Lovely 'outback NT' experience. Crab Claw is one of those places to just relax and dwindle away time, either fishing or relaxing by the pool. We stayed here for 6 nights, but could have easy stayed longer. The staff are so relaxed and friendly, nothing is a bother. The whole place could do with a bit of a tidy up... More

Lovely ambiance. Rooms were basic and really not cheap. Would be nice to have a bedside table and lamp. Dinner was well presented and tasty. Not all wines on list available. The peace was marred by the manager's young child who was a noisy spoilt little brat; he even pinched food off people's plate. The sole TV was always on... More

We are a family of four and stayed here the week before Easter and had a blast. We have stayed once before a few years ago and loved it then but this time was better again. The place is supposedly under new management and you can tell because they have been busily updating things around the resort. Our room was... More
