Spent 5 days/4 nights here 1/13. It was amazing, incredible and remarkable - I literally do not have the words for how much we enjoyed our trip - wish it were longer. We were a little unsure of the whole "off the grid" & "open air" concept, within 24 hours we didn't even notice, it actually makes the vacation better... More

This place is wonderful. Casita s were clean and bright. The food was AMAZING and plentiful. Loved the location, remote. We prefer the warmer water of the Caribbean. It was fun meeting the other guests at dinnertime. The employees went above and beyond. They were helpful and friendly. 4 nights were just enough time for us. Wish we had had... More

My husband and I just spent 4 days here and wish we had more time. The huts are carved into the hill and are completely open air so you feel like you are camping in luxury. All of them are magical. You can't go wrong. If you like to snorkle, bring your mask, snorkel and fins (their equipment is limited)... More

Stayed in Los Mangos Casita Dec 9-13,2014. 4 nights/5 days. The stay was purchased through a Groupon which did not include drinks, tips, tax, or boat taxi. Entire stay for two people includes room, the food. Solar powered only. No roads in, accessible by boat only. There is an in room safe but no locks on doors as everything is... More

I had a lot of questions about this magical place before we left. All for not! Our family of 5 was greater at the airport, taken to the taxi, to the beach to get on the ponga to the resort. It was very easy. The boat guy was very helpful with all of our bags. When we arrives, we were... More

My wife and I had our honeymoon here and had such a nice time. I mostly wanted to write this review to say how good the food is, which was totally unexpected. But overall, it's just a great place. Highly recommended. * They are not trying to sell you stuff, or rope you into tourist traps. It feels like an... More

I can't say enough great things about Majahuitas and the staff. We had an idyllic getaway for our honeymoon and felt utterly pampered from the moment we stepped onto the beach. Every staff member was friendly, gave excellent recommendations, and made us feel like they truly cared about our every need. Being "off the grid" was probably the best part... More

My fiance and I went to Majahuitas and stayed for four nights. We went at the end of June 2014, which was the week before they close for the summer. We had such a fantastic stay!! I don't even know where to start! I have to admit, I was a little bit leery when we got off the plane and... More

I have been to Majahuitas twice and look forward to a third visit. The first time at the end of February in 2013 and again in April of 2014. What I love about this place is the intamacy, relaxation factor (totally of the grid!), the views, the layout of the resort itself (cliffside), the hospitality of the owners, the attention... More

This review is a bit late, but I went with my girlfriend about two years ago and absolutely loved this place. The food was unbelievably good (probably the best mexican and seafood I've had in my life), the beach was beautiful, and the guided hike to the waterfall was breathtaking. The hotel owners also have the sweetest dogs. I promised... More
