This hotel has no contingency plan! My husband and I booked a room for two nights at The Old Post House at least 3 months ahead of our stay. We were attending a wedding in the local area and this seemed like the perfect place to stay. However, on the day we were due to arrive we emailed the B&B... More

Staying in this English country house style B&B is an absolute delight. A warm welcome, relaxed into the cosy interior of this beautiful historic building. Has to be the best bed we've slept in at a B&B and the room was superb with a view over one of the delightful garden areas - a courtyard garden. If you are tall... More

Stylish, friendly, nicely old-fashioned but still very contemporary. We had a beautiful four poster bed in a perfect room. Our dog, Archie, a Giant Schnauzer, was greeted with great pleasure - and not just by Harry, the resident terrier, but by Christine too. Worth going out of your way to stay here and to enjoy Deddington as well...

Far more than a B&B, The Old Post House is a luxury Cotswold home away from home. Christine and Harry (the very friendly terrier) offer a warm welcome - the breakfast is amazing; from homemade granola to fresh fruit salad, followed by a cooked to order breakfast, copious amounts of tea, coffee and toast... etc. You won't go hungry! The... More

A gorgeous, peaceful B & B in a beautiful Cotswolds village. Seriously stylish yet homely and inviting. Excellent full English breakfast, fresh fruits, cereal, etc. Friendly dog added to the atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

What a fabulous weekend we have just had, Christine and Harry the terrier made us feel so welcome in their stunning home where attention to detail was second to none. The blueberry pancakes were scrumptious for breakfast and there were many more delicious options available. Our room was immaculate with the most comfortable four poster bed, lovely ensuite, tea and... More

With the warmest of welcomes from both Christine and Harry the terrier, the Old Post House makes for a perfect base north of Oxford. The village of Deddington is delightful and with great walking country all around this is a great place for enjoying the countryside, heading quickly into Oxford or exploring the Cotswolds. The rooms are delightfully - full... More

Just returned from our third stay with Christine. Yet again an excellent standard of hospitality with everything you expect from a good bed and breakfast and more. We had no objection to pre-ordering breakfast as this allows Christine to give the very best of service in the morning. The property is an absolute delight and the rooms very well equipped;... More

This was a validation, if ever there was one, of what a perfect B and B experience can be like. The house is comfortable and welcoming – we felt at home as soon as we were through the front door. Our room was spacious, the matress to die for and the pillows soft as clouds. We overlooked the main road but... More

Christine provides an excellent example of what a decent B&B should be. Wonderful comfortable bed in a lovely well furnished room with ample things to read ( and a telly if you want.) Lovely relaxing old world drawing room is at your disposal. Marvellous breakfast and even if you have to think about breakfast the night before I am sure... More
