whilst not far from the airport, the plane activity was not a concern, the caravan camping sites were a generous size, the rates outside of the school holidays were reasonable, staff concern and professionalism was commendable, facilities adequate in number and always clean. We enjoyed our stay and found the location put the city of Darwin in close proximity without... More

I was really pleased that I chose Hidden Valley for my first night in Darwin. I was heading out to Kakadu the next day so wanted to stay out of town but not too far. After a long flight it was easy to find, and an absolute oasis to stay at. The rainforest retreat cabin was exceptional, very roomy, clean,... More

We stayed there 5 years ago and the park was even better second time around. We started of in the on-suite cabin which was a little small for a family, but on request we were upgraded to the family villa when available. Overall the staff are all friendly and very helpful. Everything is always clean. It's a quiet location yet... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in a camper van. We enjoyed our stay, the pool was nice and we ate in the cafe a couple of times, which was tasty and good value. It took under 15 minutes to drive into Darwin, which is quite easy to drive around. The staff were very helpful and the lady in the... More

Hidden Valley was a very friendly place to stay. The gardens were beautiful, it wasn't too far from town, the amenities were very clean, the staff were very helpful as well as been cheery all the time. We loved having the Café in the park - Pam cooked great meals and it was fantastic to be able to get a... More

Nice caravan park in NT. Stayed 2nights in an ensuite site, Which is not very big, but enough for our tent and car. After a long drive from Uluru, we enjoyed for staying here and had a good rest. We were lucky, as the weather was not too hot in those two days. Recommended.

I stayed 3 weeks at the caravan park and it was amazing! Beautiful grounds and efficient and polite staff. I especially loved the cafe I ate there almost every night there was normally amazing food for great value. I've had some of the best curries and roasts I've had in a long time. The young chef there does an amazing... More

Stayed at Hidden Valley for two nights, nice and clean and lovely pool. Found it a bit expensive for the facilities it offered. Our site was right next to the entry/exit boom gates so we had to put up with the traffic noise as well as being under the direct flight path for Darwin airport. Avoid the Hidden Delights Café... Hi “Hilary B” Thanks for your feedback. We note the comments re the cost of staying at our park and empathise with you, however as a business operator in Darwin, the cost of doing business/living up here is extraordinarily higher than anywhere else in Australia. While that is by no means an excuse, it’s simply an explanation and we are... More

We found the staff were friendly and were so helpful, especially the groundsmen. The site was expensive and we felt we were pushed to take on an ensuite site for our van. The biggest problem being - that for all the sites that did not have an ensuite there was only ONE amenities block with 4 toilets and only 4... More
