We have stayed at many agriturismos throughout Europe and this is by far our favorite. I did a lot of research prior to selecting this place and it seems Puglia takes their agriturismos to a higher level (call them Masserias for one thing). This masseria did not disappoint. The grounds were exquisite and the pool was amazing. We regret not... More

Visitors to Puglia in southern Italy are often drawn to the coast but, by moving a short distance inland, can enjoy the attractions of the beach without oppressive holiday crowds. The Masseria Montenapoleone ( near the village of Pozzo Guacito and small town of Pezze de Greco) between Bari and Brindisi is a castle-like country house surrounded by olive groves... More

We were a group of 16 people and we were all treated as family by the owners, Dino, Cristina, their son, Giuliano.. Doriana in the office was extremely helpful as was the kind staff. . We were greeted with a sumptuous dinner the first night, Dino helped suggest meals and even offered to drive us to the butcher for the... More

I was at the Masseria Montenapoleone from 19 - 26 September. I had long wanted to go to Puglia because of its reputation for food and wine and to see the olive groves and the trullos. I found a holiday based at the Masseria with a company (via a national newspaper and on a website specialising in activity holidays) that... More

We stayed for four nights, second week of September, paid 215 euros per night for the suite. First off, it is an absolutely beautiful property: the room, the common areas, the pool, all of it. The breakfast is truly excellent, with excellent and friendly staff. Same goes for the pool/bar/lunch area. Our room's furnishings were overall very good; we appreciated... More

Very beautiful masseria, well maintained, all food is homegrown, rooms are well done if you like this style (we slept in a cave!), owners are lovely and the pool is truly amazing. The price was a bit expensive though for a B&B. We paid 275 euro for a night for a large room.

Masseria Monteapoleone is the great hotel experience I have ever had. Beautiful and detailed room. I love how they have resorted an old farm and stables to create such a unique and comfortable place to stay. Our room and a little enclosed outdoor shower under an olive tree. All the fixures and detail that went into this property is amazing.... More

The location is top, old very nice and carefully restored Masseria near by beautiful coast, the city of Savelletri, Ostuni and the corresponding inland. Is hard to imagine a better blend of tradition and class with very good price/quality ratio. Free WiFi, very nice pool, bikes, 20 hectares of land for jogging and a unique views to the sea. I will never forget this place. The rooms were unique and beautiful. I took pictures of every detail. The landscape was so special . From the olive trees, the fig trees, the vineyards , the sea and mountains in the distance. I will cherish it all. The location is great to visit beautiful Puglia. 5 minutes to the beach in Torre... The Masseria Montenapoleone is incredible. Everything down to the smallest detail is perfect. The food is fresh, much of it comes from the Masseria's own farm. Fig, almond, and lemon trees seem to grow wild. Each room is slightly different imbuing each with it's own unique experience. I highly recommend taking the cooking class - I had no idea that... More
