We only stayed one night, but were very warmly welcomed by hosts Liam and Kate to their beautiful heritage property, with lovely gardens in a quiet location a five minute drive from Balclutha. If I lived in New Zealand and did regular weekend breaks away from the stresses of city living, I would be reluctant to review this B&B as I would not want to draw attention to it. We chose Lesmahagow as a stop off point between Invercargil and Dunedin and not as a destination.
