On this late Friday night on our way from west to east of Norway, the hotel was just perfect situated. The management is friendly, the rooms are clean and basic (no coffee machine in the room). The hotel has a small swimming pool, and a sauna which is more cold than warm. The only big downside is the food: Totally... More

Looking for a place under US $200 in the Lom area and this fit the bill. Room was large but facility is in need of renovation and freshening up. Felt more like the old roadside motels in the US but with restaurant and bar. We visited in the summer so perhaps a more charming place in the snow.

My family and I often travel from Oslo to western Norway, and have tried much of the accommodation on offer. Now that our little family numbers 5, finding a reasonable night's sleep is challenging. We were pleasantly surprised when this hotel offered us a double room with a sofa bed, and space for a cot at a lower price than much... More

Average room and service. It was clean and well maintained. One of the more reasonably priced lodgings we had. Little for restaurants in town. Staff not very helpful in locating dining alternatives.

We decided to stay here based on the location. It fit in perfectly with the driving tour we had planned. There are many hotels in the area outside of town, but we enjoyed walking around the town after dinner. They have a stavekirke, which from 1150 makes it one of the oldest in the country. A river runs through the... More

To keep it short: This Hotel is not worth the money. We paid about 160 Euro for a double room. The whole place needs renovation. Both furniture and mattress have been worn. Walls are thin, so there is a lot of noise from other peoples rooms. Breakfast has very low standard. It's more a motel than a hotel except for... More

Well loctated in the middle of the village. A bit old but friendly staff and good dinner buffét, especially the salmon starters. Rooms are simple but fine. However they do not have any darkening curtains, only thin normal ones. And considering it is less than 5° south of the polar circle, summer nights never goes really dark. They have a... More
