I highly recommend staying at the Gioca Dell'Oca for a relaxing visit in the Barolo area. We had stayed in the town of Barolo on our previous visit and much preferred this agriturismo stay. We were met at the entrance by Eva when we showed up and she got us into our room and made lunch reservations for us in... More

On a very busy road, noisy, you feel you kind of sleep on the road.....dark room, just for sleeping, we got a room with not well designed shower......however people there made it OK. Raffaella is very warm, accommodating and flexible person, goes out of her way to spoil you and give you useful directions. We visited around Giro so did... More

Oh how I love Barolo...such a wonderful place and such lovely people. Our overnight stay at Il Gioco Dell'Oca turned into a 3 night stay because we fell in love with everything about the bnb and the surrounding area. Although a year ago now (to the day) I fondly remember the beautiful gardens, wonderful breakfast and lovely owners and staff.... More

A very enjoyable agriturismo for sampling the wonderful tastes of Barolo! A warm, homely welcome. Gated parking. Nice rooms. Good wine. Good, caring breakfast. Very knowledgeable and entertaining hostess. Excellent location in the rolling country.

A++! We stopped here during a long bike tour, arriving in the late morning. Even though we were well before a reasonable check-in time, we were welcomed warmly and a room was ready for us in just a few minutes. The owner gave us lots of advice for lunch in Barolo, directions for an incredible loop ride in the area,... More

Our first time to Piemonte will not be the last. We immediately felt at home in the lovely apartment and in the cosy garden. The breakfast was rich and tasty and served with a warm large smile. We also appreciated the fine habit of offering a cup of coffee when arriving from the day’s adventures. We gladly return here.

During our bicycletrip from Basel to Nice we stayed in this Agriturismo for 1 night. We were welcomed by Raffaela, the owner . She immediately asked what we wanted for a drink and put a bowl filled with fresh prunes on the table. The room was very comfortable and clean. Raffaela worked for many years in the tourist-industry and lived... More

On our 22nd trip to Piemonte, we chose to stay in Barolo for the first time (all the previous times had been in Barbaresco area). We are loving the proliferation of lodging choices in the area, particularly the agriturismo options. The concept of "roughing it" should be forgotten when choosing to stay in an agriturismo. But, like fabphil, we too... More

My wife and I stayed at Dell'Oca for 2 nights(8/16~18) during our visit to Barolo area. This time we could realise again that it's "with whom" that matters more than "where". Raffaella, the owner, is very nice, cheerful and caring about guests in every details. Most of all, breakfast was great, full of organic and natural foods just from the... More
