We stayed here for 2 nights in August 2014. We wanted to do wine tasting in Barolo and Barbaresco and found this place on tripadvisor based on the good reviews. Even after reading all the good reviews the place still exceeded our expectation. We got there late at night and couldn't find it very easily using our GPS. We called... More

We had a wonderful stay in Le Viole, in the village of Vergne, near Barolo. You are welcomed with coffee or tea with a nice piece of fruit tart, and a friendly smile. The host lady's English is just sufficient - at least a lot better than our Italian! The room was excellent, good bed and clean shower and toilet.... More

I love this B&B, it is a simple place in our of the best wine area in Italy (the Barolo area), not Hilton, but extremely clean, Luciana, the Lady owing this place, is so lovely and truly helpful, you will immediately feel she is one of your family, be kind to her because she is very very nice (not sure... Amazing hospitality, gorgeous breakfast with local cheeses, cakes, fresh juice and homemade jams. Our room was very clean and it had a lovely view of the countryside. It's a nice, if a bit vigorous walk to Barolo (up hill on the return trip), and only about 3k to La Morra. An incredible deal in Piemonte!

The owner and her family are extremely welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Lovely room with balcony and view over the hills (I think all rooms have this). The room had a lot of character and was very clean. Our room was cleaned and bed made on our second day which we hadn't expected for the price. They... More

Agriturismo le Viole is a great family run place. It's in a great within 5 minutes drive to Barolo and La Morra and within a walking distance to a very nice restaurant and winery. We had a great experience and the owners were very friendly. The rooms were comfortable, clean and warm (we visited during the winter). Breakfast was good... More

The owners: The entire family is incredibly friendly, and all go out of their way to accommodate the guests. Upon check-in, we were offered wine, cheese, salami, fruit, etc… By the time we left, we felt as though we had been visiting family. …our adopted Italian aunt! They spoke very little English. However, this gave us the perfect opportunity to... More

Nice place in the hills near Barolo. Kind people, spacy and clean rooms, free wifi, fantastic view over the vineyards. When the sky is clear you can even see Monte Viso. The breakfast is ok for Italian standards: good coffee, nice cakes, but the bread is old and the juice is sweetened stuff. It's a nice walk to Barolo, but... More

This B&B was quite a find - a perfect spot from which to explore Barolo, Barbaresco, La Morra and other wine and beautiful little villages of this area. While the B&B itself is on a road rather than back among its vineyards, it is quiet at night. Trucks and Vespas are a bit noisy coming up the hill during the... More

We travelled as a group of six. First of all we were amazed that on Sunday in August that is the holiday month of Italy and the countries near by neither Barbaresco nor Barolo was busy. We had the possibility to stroll leisurely along the cobbled streets. The country roads were not busy either. The scenery is so beautiful. Le... More
