Absolutelly perfect. During a tasteful breakfast in the small garden just outside our room, we figured, this must be the best place to stay in the region. Helpful and service minded hosts, romantic rooms and the best wines and food within walking distance (go find Alessios restaurant:)

L'Antico Asilo is small, but good B&B if you would like to stay a night or two in Serralunga. The location is perfect and the host Nicolaas is very service minded. And after a good night sleep - you will have an excellent breakfast :)

Being Dutch myself (like the owners) does not influence my judgement of this place. One seldom finds such a dedicated host and hostess. young, energetic and keen to accommodate. The rooms are immaculate. The breakfast is just right. My wife and I stayed two nights, but we would have stayed longer if we could. Highly recommended to all.

This little gem is not easy to find. But if you get lucky and find it, you won't be disappointed. It's a B&B so don't expect much service but the little service you get from Elena the owner is top notch and you feel immediately like home. Only four rooms but they are all nice and roomy. The breakfast is... More

After going around the town several times we found the place. The building was covered by scaffolding, front door dirty and looked abandoned!! We knocked..called out...nothing! After 5-7 minutes a man showed up in a car, it was the neighbor, he opened the doors and called the owner. We were supposed to choose our rooms and she would see us... More

This B&B was quaint and beautiful! Definitely worth a multiple return!! The rooms were lovely and very comfy--the bed was great! We particularly enjoyed the room off the courtyard, where we walked out to breakfast each morning! Breakfasts were astounding--and you could skip lunch. Or picnic along the countryside. Hostess, Elena, was most hospitable and helpful with anything you might... More

With our little son we spent two nights in this BB in the picturesque village of Serralunga d'Alba. We can only confirm the other reviews here regarding the hospitality and quality encountered. We were glad to have such warm welcome and support from the owner for finding ourselves around in the region and also felt very comfortable in the refurbished... More

05 - 07dec2011 @ 85euro/day. Looking for a place near Albaretto della Torre where we had an unexpected lunch reservation with icon chef Cesare Giaccone in his home, this small B&B in Serralunga revealed itself during an internet search. Normally this time of year would not find me in Piemonte but this gastronomic opportunity came, as of many life's better... More

We enjoyed our first visit to Serralunga d'Alba. There are parking spaces in front of the hotel with the most gorgeous view of the vineyards. There are a few benches outside so you can enjoy this view at anytime. There are four rooms in this beautiful building that used to be a nursery. Elena is one of the most charming... More

It's the second time we stay here for our "white truffle" trips in the Langhe region and will certainly come back. The location is beautiful and convenient, including proximity to great Slow Food osteria Cascina Schiavenza (50 mt from the hotel - reservation recommended). Very clean hotel, very nice breakfast buffet. The owner is very friendly and helpful.
