During an expedition to the Northern Patagonian Icefield I stayed in the Terra Luna Lodge and was absolutely delighted. Very friendly staff, very helpful and an excellent chef with names Philippe Reuter. One can not expect a five star luxury in this part of the world, but it belongs to this place not anyway. The different sleeping accommodations are absolutely... More

Stayed at Terra Luna on 3 separate occasions as part of a scouting trip in the area and absolutely loved it. Clean and comfortable rooms, excellent service, great food and a spectacular setting; what more could you want. Philippe's knowledge of the region is unmatched and his organisational and logistical skills are excellent. His fleet of jet boats gives you... More

although we had a small lodge with our beds directly under the roof, which does not really fit to my fear of spiders, it has been awesome. having your own small house in the park-like ground of terra luna, you can spend an awesome time there. it is situated at the lake general carrera with its awesome turquoise waters. the... Been there with my family in the last days of december/2014. Excellent and very beautiful place. The rooms were good, but they all could be a little larger. The bathroom also. All brazilians of my group complained about this. The trips, in the other hand, were magnificent and we will never forget Glaciar Leones. We would like to see them... More

We booked a lakeside cottage at Terra Luna to cap our three week vacation in Chile, and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind after all our Patagonian adventures. The drive from Balmaceda took five hours, but Patricio of Terra Luna took care of us--excellent driving , with all the stops for photos of spectacular scenery along the... More

Dear , I was pleasantly surprise by your complete, objetive and positive comment about TERRA LUNA and myself. I am happy you did enjoy your stay and perfectly remind your very nice family. I normally do not answer to positive opinion cause I often agree them, but your is so special cause it gets to the point , and you... More

Lovely, clean cabins. Beautiful view. Not very good at answering the phone-I had tried for a couple of weeks to contact about a transfer from the airport. The day before we arrived was my first conversation with Tatiana about a transfer but we decided to hire a car from the airport (recommended). The owner Philippe spoke in a very rude... More

Hi Amy2012, I really thank you for your very nice words about our lodge and infrastructure and glad you had a great stay. We could feel and see it by the way and that's exactly the reason we exist for. Concerning your personal comment about myself and specially our last conversation, I was quite surprised to read such thing.... and... More

The lodge has a beautiful deck that looks out on the dark turquoise General Carrera Lake, with snow-topped mountains in the distance. The rooms in the lodge are comfortable and handy to the dining area (although sometimes you can hear people in other rooms). The rooms in the cottages are comparable but (obviously) farther away and more private. The staff... More

Got a room which was in the 3rd floor of a building. It was a 3 by 3 m room approx which had 2 beds in it for us to share. The beds were too short for me and the pillow was so low I had a sore neck for 3 days after sleeping there. Could not stand up in... More

decided to take what was available and use the available appartment and bungalow for 4-5 people each trying to solve the group lodging problem. We just respect their decision and follow their booking request. But apparently once in Terra Luna, your group did not respect the planified rooming list for that 2 nights as it would not have been necessary... More

We kept a foreign exchange student from Chile in 1999/2000 and finally were able to spend 2 weeks with her and her family in Coyhaique. They arranged this trip. Of all the unbelievable excursions we did while in Chile, this one was the bell ringer! First, the lodging at Terra Luna on the shores of breathtaking Lake General Carrera provides... More

The best option in Puerto Guardal - probably the only one! While it is certainly not cheap anymore, the view was spectacular, and the wooden quadruples definitely very nice. It's quite in the middle of nowhere, close to Puerto Guardal but still a bit of a walk. At night they offer a set menu which we did not want to... More
