This B&B was a wonderful surprise, recommended by a distant cousin as well as my sister. Everything seems to be new and it is immaculately clean. It is in the old part of the town, which was perfect for me as I tried connecting with my Agnone roots. It is typically Italian, with tile floors, terra cotta roof, terrace on... More

Borgo San Pietro is a charming apartment on the south edge of the medival town of Agnone. The views are fantastic, the surrounds are interesting, the chimes of the local bells are worth listening to and the parking is excellent. There is no night noise, so one sleeps peacefully. The town has all required for a holiday visit and the... More

Central Italy is full of medieval mountaintop towns, many of which are off the beaten track for many tourists---but the beautiful town of Agnone should be a "must" for all leisure travelers in central Italy. The town boasts churches from the 10th century, spectacular views over the Italian countryside . . . and an absolute gem in the form of... More

In Agnone, in the unknown part of Italy, the Molise, we hired this appartment. It is located in the oldest part of Agnone (6000 inhabitants) and has a small garden (in the name of the appartment: Giardino) with a fabulous vieuw. The appartment has a nice room, sleepingroom and bathroom and because in May the temperature inside is colder than... More

We enjoyed our short stay in Agnone. We would recommend Borgo San Pietro to anybody, and would love to return and spend longer here. Borgo San Pietro is well positioned, the staff very helpful and rooms excellent.

“I go to Italy almost every year for a dose of long, languorous, sunny Mediterranean afternoons. This is one of my favorite places to visit. The beautifully restored 13th-century villa is set in rolling Tuscan countryside. The area is dotted with pretty medieval villages and a drive around is highly recommended for a slice of local life and some stunning... More

Tastefully renovated to a high standard located in a quiet corner of the centro storico of Agnone. A great opportunity to experience living in one of those old buildings and be in walking distance of the quite lively main street of Agnone. We had the usual minimalistic (but quite adequate for us) Italian breakfast which is provided by arrangement at... More

We traveled with our mother to her ancestral home and could not have had a better time. Valentina has thought of everything in creating beautiful accommodations that met everyone's needs. The rooms and apartments were immaculately clean. I especially appreciated the lovely linens for the bed and bath. We often cooked in one of the apartments and enjoyed shopping at... More

My family and I stayed in Borgo San Pietro while in Agnone visiting family. The building is beautiful, inside and out, and the family that runs the hostel was unbelievably warm and accommodating, making the entire experience a pleasure. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with soft cotton linens for the bed and bathroom and Italian copper ware adorning the... More

We stayed at the Borgo San Pietro for two nights Oct. 16-18 2012 and it was an amazing experiance, we had stopped in Agnone because it was the village that my dads grandparents came from, what we found was not only information about my family but a beautiful place to stay .....
