We have been to Italy on and off for several years now, usually doing the culture, towns and ciiy breaks but never considered the self catering away from it all thing. We met up with the guys from Casa Falerone at La Dolce Vita who were spent time with us and telling us about the region, the accommodation and above all giving us a reason to go. There is a lot of accommodation out there but we needed a good reason to go and explore the area, the accommodation was really the icing on the cake.
We had week at Casa Falerone last year and really didnt want to come away infact had the accommodation not been booked the week after we would have probably extended.
We are going back for more this year and plan to explore the mountains and do some mountain biking and lots of walking to make way for all that good food and wine.
