Last visited Mottram 2 years ago and I was delighted on my return visit. It's one of my favourite hotels in the area. We arrived to a warm welcome and directed to our room. The bedrooms look like they have changed decor, all clean and comfortable. We went to the Leisure Club, again a warm welcome from a nice young... more

We have just returned from our luxurious and relaxing spa weekend at the 4star Mottram Hall with AA rosette restaurant????? What a disappointment to say the least! A £130 per night DBB would have been better spent at a travel lodge!! We were greeted by friendly reception staff and given directions to our room. Pokey and stiflingly hot, NO AIR... more

I like this hotel. I have been many times and I am always happy with it. The new receptionist, Suzanna, is really doing a great job. The food is ok. This hotel doesn't over promise and under deliver. The golf driving range is located in the centre of the golf course...quite nice. I recomend! more

Thanks for the review, I'm really pleased you like the hotel and feel confident to recommend. Guest satisfaction, intent to return and of course intent to recommend are critical drivers to us so THANK YOU. I'm pleased you enjoyed the driving range, the course itself really is in stunning condition at the moment, you are one of many guests commenting....

I booked a weekend break for my partner for fathers day. Our 2 year old son was also with us. This was a complete surprise for my partner and having stayed at Mottram before and thoroughly enjoyed it, I thought this would be the ideal place to treat him... I was soooooo wrong on this occasion. I would like to... more

I just spent two nights there on business. It's almost as if you're not staying at a hotel, but rather a mansion. Long tree line driveway, golf course outside your window, Aston Martin parked outside, thick bath towels, excellent food, great beer. As others have pointed I had no in-room WiFi, plus some of my colleagues couldn't get a cell... more

Thanks for the review, greatly appreciated. I agree the sense of arrival at the hotel is quiet phenomonal, we work hard to look after the 270 acres of parkland and championship golf course, so I'm delighted you enjoyed it. Thick towels, excellent food, great beer - I'm so delighted, that's what we are all about - This is the life...

I've booked a standard room for a weekend as a special offer with a complementary meal on arrival. We had a great time there but I wouldn't pay the full brochure price as the hotel felt slightly dated. We were unable to use the swimming pool facilities as it was close down for repairs. more

Just a quick note to say, thank you for the feedback, you will be pleased to know the Swimming Pool is now open, levelling and re-tiling complete the sauna has been re-fitted and is brand new. i have just returned from a 2 night stay at mottram hall with my 10 year old daughter, firstly when we checked in the reception staff were very friendly and welcoming, (my only niggle about that is that no-one offered to help with our bags!!) our room was lovely and comfortable, i had to ask for the bedding to be... more

Thank you for the hugely positive review - greatly appreciated. I'm really grateful for the feedback around reception, the staff in that department really do try very hard to make the stay extra special. I have noted your comments regarding bags, I can assure you, should you ask at recpetion we are more than happy to help. In fact we...

I was keen to stay here simply because of management’s timely replies to the comments on these pages – it sounded to me like an organization that really cared. I wasn’t disappointed. I took the time to email the hotel in advance of my stay to let them know what kind of room and experience I would prefer: I was... more

First and foremost thank you for such comprehensive feedback. I can assure you we are not against flowers, in fact with such wonderful grounds/woodland we are surrounded by them at this time of the year (I have to be honest though, they are only justing coming into bloom - a summer visit is essential) In terms of inside the hotel,...

My husband and I were fortunate enough to stay on the £89 DBB offer on Good Friday. If the opportunity arose, I would most certainly stay at Mottram Hall again as we had such a lovely time. The hotel is a beautiful property located amidst stunning grounds with a lake and a golf course. Everything about the hotel is very... more

Thanks Tina. The team at the hotel have really enjoyed reading your review. We are extremely proud of the hotel to be honest, the grounds are a bit special, and this year we have given them extra special attention, next time you are here spend some time to take a walk through our ancient woodland, lined with Bluebells at the...

Just returned home from a 2-night stay at Mottram Hall - which we got via superbreak.com for £84.50 per person. I had requested adjacent rooms which we got and we were very lucky to have rooms overlooking the golf course - wow! The hotel was like a maze but we managed to find our way around! Dinner on the first... more

Good afternoon, First and foremost thank you for such a positive review. I'm delighted you had such a great time at Mottram Hall, we are certainly looking forward to seeing you again.
