4 night trip to Luosto with Canterbury Travel. Hugely impressed that the coach guides were able to retain enthusiasm for singing 'Santa & his Elves' at full volume throughout. Our 3 kids aged 2, 5 & 6 loved every second of it. Ideally we'd have waited till our 2yr old was 4+ but were worried our then-8yr old might loose... More

We did the 3 night magical interlude in December 2014. We stayed in a log cabin, a short walk from the hotel. The organisation of the trip was really good, once we arrived, we didn't have to think, and did the most amazing things, husky rides, reindeer, snow mobiles and of course, meeting Santa. The staff and elves were fantastic... More

We stayed in the log cabins which are just at the base of the ski runs. It is a beautiful location with which to capture the feel of a Christmas adventure. The accommodation was more than we could hope for, the actually living space is small so you have to tip toe around when the children have gone to bed.... More

Two adults travelled with the white circle Holidays now known as Artisan travel. The whole holiday was missold as adults adults only. They fail to mention the whole resort is taken over by Canterbury travel. There is no escape from the thousands of screaming kids, in the bars restaurants and spa. Great if you have kids not so great if... More

This venue was the scene for our friends wedding. We went (and returned) via Helsinki. Having no skiing erxperience whatsoever I was delighted that my first experience was here, surrounded by loved ones and an idealic and stunning area for snow scenes. Being in the artic we had a good chance of seeing the Northern Lights but alas it didn't... More

We travelled here with a Santa Lapland tour through Canterbury. I won't comment on how bad the Santa tour was. The accommodation and settling for the cabins is great. Quirky bunk bed layout, free logs and a sauna made it a great place to stay. The catering in the hotel was absolutely atrocious. Self cater would be my advice. Our... More

Friendly service at this place, which despite its very university-dorm-like atmosphere, was quite charming and homey. There's not much reception space to lounge around so you will get stir crazy if you stay here during the winter months. The rooms are nice, all wood floors, with fireplaces and compact saunas in the bathroom, but not very large for two people... More
