We stayed here for one night having visited the excellent Light Festival at Longleat. The Somerset Arms was warm and inviting on a cold evening. We had an excellent meal in the restaurant and our room was very comfortable. There was a problem with the hot water in the morning but a complimentary breakfast more than made up for it,... More

We stayed here in October for 1 night. On arrival we was met by a pleasant young lady who showed us to our room and explained restaurant times and was very chatty and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfy. We ate at the restaurant which was excellent. The food was perfect snd the... More

Lovely clean, large room overlooking a large garden. Were worried about staying above a pub on a Saturday night with noise levels etc but didn't get disturbed at all. Good value for money and good location for longleat.

Stayed here on a Saturday night to go to longleat on the Sunday around a 25 min drive, beautiful room that was extremely clean and very peaceful, with a lovely feature bath and toiletries provided, lovely family run business would recommend this room to anyone!

We were told that this pub had recently been taken over, so thought we'd try it for Sunday lunch to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. The greeting was friendly, we were shown to our table straight away. We ordered starters, mains and puds. For starter I had the pigeon which was lovely, my daughter Mussels again lovely, my husband garlic... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night before a day trip to Longleat Safari park, as it's only 4 miles away which is ideal if you want an early start. We received a very warm welcome from the landlady and were shown to our room. The room was just lovely! We had a great nights sleep in the... More

This is the second time that we have stayed at the Sommerset Arms in Maiden Bradley. The first time was late last year on our way to Devon, but this time we booked an overnight stay to meet friends, and we were really impressed with the improvements. The young hosts are very welcoming and have been making lots of changes... More
