Six of us stayed in one of the holiday villas. it's not 5 star, but the price reflects this. Inside we found the house clean and with a very spacious open plan living room / kitchen / dining room. This space was wonderful in the evening as we would light the open fire and spend our time there. There is a... More

I recently spent a week in Curacloe with my family. The villas were very spacious which was great as I have an 11 month old who just wanted to crawl everywhere. The villas were well equipped and anything we didn't have (travel cots) the owner, Seamus, was able to source in a matter of minutes. The area is extremely safe... More

I've spent a wonderful week in one of Seamus 'holiday villa, the place has everything to offer, close beach, lovely italian restaurant, taxis to go in town and even a tennis court. We couldn't have asked for more!

We stayed at Curracloe holiday villas in August 2015 with extended family and young children and hired out a couple of villas. The accommodation was spacious, clean, airy and well equipped, with gorgeous views of the beach and surrounding countryside. The kids enjoyed the playground. Although they were too young for the tennis-courts, I noticed plenty of older kids and... More

Hi All, We visited Curracloe Holiday Resort this week and we have mixed views. Firstly i partly agree with some of the negative reviews about musty and damp smells. When first placed in a house that just didnt smell right..we asked to be moved and were given the same house next door which was much better. The problem is if... More

We are very sorry that Karen felt strongly enough about her experience to post this review. However, clients are always encouraged that if they have any grievances that they should address them to management and we will do what we can to rectify matters. The houses are getting old, as houses do, but they are bright and comfortable and for... More

Just returned from a fantastic weeks holiday with family and grandchildren. Our bungalow was bright and clean with plenty of room for everybody. There is a large green area around each bungalow and a children's playground thus ensuring families with young children are very well catered for. Tennis and par three golf are also available on site. The complex is... More

Just back from two lovely weeks in Curracloe Holiday Villas. We have just read some unfavorable reviews before writing this but really we couldn't fault the place. We have self catered for the last few years and this was the nicest house we have stayed in. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed with a lovely... More

Stayed here for a week in July. Don't know what the last negative review was about. I found the houses to be comfortable and clean the location is superb. Beach just a short stroll away. Blue flag standard. A few very minor glitches were efficiently remedied by on site handy man Sean. Restaurant excellent and very busy. The kids loved... More

The house we were given had a very strong damp smell and we asked for a different one. The second house had less of a damp smell. The condition of the entire property was very run down. The fridge smelt of oven cleaner and I was very nervous of storing anything in it. I could not believe that this property... More
