It is rare that I would post in complaint or disappointment; however I feel the need to on this occasion. Myself and my husband spent last Saturday night here. We had very much been looking forward to the break and although B&B and dinner was being charged at a higher rate than we had hoped to pay, we decided to... More

Had lunch at the bar which is in the grounds of Dunbrody House. Authentic shabby chic done very nicely here. Great value home made fish & chips for €10 served in paper! Steak good too. Good spot for a bite after long walk locally.

A warm welcome awaits you in Dunbrody House. Staff ever so helpful. Had a really pleasant, leisurely lunch here. (Had a Sunday Lunch on another occasion - superb). This is truly a place in which to relax. If I have one tiny criticism, it is that it would benefit from having a good 'airing'. We eagerly look forward to returning... More

Dunbrody Country House Hotel offers so much potential, but shows so little effort made to reach it. From the moment you enter the pot holed driveway, the place feels like it has suffered badly during the long drawn out recession and has little or no money to invest in the many small improvements needed to realise it's former glory. While... More

We had dinner in the bar of the hotel. So we could have restaurant menu offerings without the formality of the restaurant setting as we had a newborn with us. Beautiful food, presentation was impeccable. The servers were all highly courteous and professional. Had a lovely meal all courses without feeling under pressure with a baby in tow. A real... More

Was sent to kevins place for dinner, just to check it out ,for a big booking that was planned. Had eaten there several times over the past 10 years. This place has really gone down hill over the years and is now very unkept and uncared for. Such a pity. It used to be much, much better and was once... More

Hi there, I want to say a big thank you to our wonderful teacher - Chef Julien - who taught us on the 5day Masterclass cookery course at the end of July in Dunbrody Cookery School. The course had the right balance of demonstartion and hands on. I learned to be more confident in the kitchen, not to be afraid... More

We stayed here as a treat on a special anniversary and were delighted with the experience. We were upgraded to a majestic room overlooking the gardens which was beautiful and full of character. The local pub on the grounds of the house was really lively and served what looked to be great food- the barman was super efficient and friendly... More

Well its with sincere regret that I write this review and some day I hope I have to eat my words. Having Dined in Dunbrody 20-25 times in the past I've never had anything but fabulous experiences. I dined in the restaurant with friends in the first week in July and the experience was good albeit €55 a head compared... More
