This was my second visit to this very comfortable B&B. Rooms and furniture are high quality, well decorated and with good ensuite showers. Tea and coffee facilities are available in each room. Breakfast is cooked to order and includes a fine full Irish breakfast. Fine dining can be found within walking distance at Dunbrody Country House Hotel. The B&B is... More

Stayed two nights at this well run B&B with off street parking. Very convenient for the Passage East - Passage West Ferry and touring the sunny southeast of Ireland. The welcome was friendly and continued to be so. The large bedroom was well furnished and both room and ensuite shower room were spotlessly clean. The room was well heated and... More

Booked on-line to attend local wedding. Did not know area. Friendly welcome. Downstairs bedroom with large wet room ensuite. Exactly what we required. Spotlessly clean. Well furnished. Landlady went out of her way to meet breakfast requirements. So helpful. Couldn't do enough for us .thank you

We stayed at this BnB on Saturday June 1st. Now, I have to say we were hoping to get accommodation in Duncannon itself but it was fullup, so we stayed in the nearest village then in arthurstown. From reading other reviews I must say I was apprehensive about this bnb. But what a shock I got when I saw our... More

We stayed 2 nights at Arthurs Rest and would have been happy to stay longer if time permitted. The owners were very friendly and could not have been more helpful. Our room was modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Great breakfasts

Felt unwelcome, building and room were immaculate but unheated and breakfast was an effort.Cold, unwelcoming and unfriendly. Stopped late was unprepared but a BandB that didn't really want guests wasn't a great choice.

We stayed 1 night to be ready for a IWDG whale watching trip the following morning. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful - even prepared a packed lunch for us at no extra charge. The room was modern and comfortable with kettle, tea and milk on our arrival. Fabulous Irish breakfast!

We stayed here while attending a wedding at the nearby Dunbrody House Hotel. The owner was very friendly and didn't rush us out in the morning. Room had modern en-suite bathroom.

This B&B is a short car journey and 5minute ferry ride from Waterford, so it's a bit of a mission to get to it unless you have a car. However, it's worth it if you're looking for somewhere to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's in a lovely location just about 100m from the sea... More
