Had the pleasure of staying in this delightful country house with my daughter recently. Beautifully maintained and comfortable house. Charming hostess. The most precious little dog called "Dude" entertained my 10 year old. I would love to return for another night. Best night's sleep in ages. Thank you.

Excellent doesn't say enough about this Bed and Breakfast. My girlfriend, our dog and myself stayed here for a weekend recently and it was perfect. The rooms were spotless, the area was beautiful, the "dog friendly" label went above and beyond what I expected and the service from the lady of the house, Valerie, was superb. The breakfast was delicious... More

Really nice place for a quiet weekend. Evening dinner was fantastic, home cooked food was top-class. Location had plenty to do and lovely farmland and great views. Valerie did all she could to make us feel welcome and offered lots of advice on local attractions.

We stayed with Valerie on her beautiful property for a couple of days on our journey through Ireland. She had just returned from a holiday herself when we arrived, but went to some lengths to produce a delicious meal. It was special to be able to pick the fresh raspberries for dessert from her own garden. The next day Val... More

This is my third time staying at the Lodge and each one is just as good an experience as the last stay. If you are looking for an oasis of tranquillity with first class country house accommodation and food then this is the place for you. Val Bemish is a superb hostess who has the natural ability to make every... More

A unique and hugely enjoyable stay, where all five of us were exceptionally well cared for by owner/hostess Val Beamish whom doubles as more than a good chef. The beds are very comfortable with luxurious fine linen, towels and electrics blankets. The house furnishing and fittings are all well thought out, which adds to guest comfort. This is an ideal... I arrived here on a cold, blustery winter's evening to be greeted by an oasis of welcome, warmth and beauty. Val is a wonderfully relaxed host who appears to be able to seamlessly produce delicious food. I was on business and new to this part of the country. I found it to be very beautiful and I also had a... More

Last September we were touring Ireland, en route from Dublin to Co. Kerry, with a recently widowed friend who had previously stayed at Saratoga Lodge with her husband a year or so earlier. We were told that it was a must see haven of tranquility located within a stud farm and run by the charming Valerie Beamish. Well I can... More

Saratoga Lodge in Tipperary is a great and conveniently located B&B for enjoying the Irish countryside at its very best. Val Beamish is a wonderful hostess, friendly, welcoming and great fun. Her house is very comfortable and peaceful. Walking around her picture-perfect stud is magical, watching her mares graze and foals frolic. Saratoga Lodge is as good as B&B can... More
