We enjoyed our recent stay in The Glyde Inn. The entrance is through an old world bar with swinging doors like stepping back in time into 'a wild west style' pub. We wondered where to find the front desk but eventually found a staff member who showed us to our rooms. Access to bedrooms is up a steep flight of... More

Visited the restaurant last week, really really poor. The crab claws were served in a terrible sauce and our steaks were not prepare correctly. Waitress really done her best to cover for the poor food.

The Glyde Inn is in an absolutely beautiful spot, the most amazing sea and mountain views I am sure you will get in all of Co Louth. We went for lunch on a weekday and where one of only two sets of diners, despite the restaurant having at least 20 tables we where offered a table right next to the... More

We took the advice of a relative who is a local and wasn't disappointed. Nice comfortable, clean rooms, a good restaurant and a real Irish pub with Irish music and prices that didn't knock your socks off. The countryside is beautiful, the views breathtaking and only 50 minutes from Dublin. Couldn't ask for anything more.

The hospitality is second to none; the food is far superior to many top restaurants I have dined in all over the world’ and the magnificent Irish welcome would warm the heart of any one. I have recommend this family run hotel... More

We lived in Dublin for the summer and I wanted to show my parents an "authentic" Irish pub-like experience so we ended up staying at The Glyde Inn on a Friday night on our way up to the Antrim Coast. Since the restaurant had received rave reviews, I took a chance and booked their b&b for 2 rooms. After speaking... More

Went to the Glyde Inn restaurant with my wife and work collegues on Friday night. Have heard a lot about this restaurant but was never there before. I have to say Lobster tank was a great showpiece upon entering this beautifully located fine dining restaurant. I had Oysters for starters and the Lobster for mains, which i have to say... More
